The thermal paste itself receives positive feedback, and many appreciate its affordability. However, some users note a less-than-ideal consistency in the product.

Still going strong after a few years, I have not needed to keep changing it like other thermal pastes I have bought in the past. For the price, it really is one of the best I have ever bought.

Spreads well and does what it's supposed to do! Make sure not to use too much. I do an X on the processor, and small dots to fill the gaps. This stuff is non conductive, so its better to have too much than not enough. Watch videos and youll be fine! Beware, its thick!

This thermal paste is for PCs that will run some very demanding programs. For my purchase, I am strictly using for gaming. A little is a lot with this thermal compound as it has a consistency or thickness like peanut butter. With the applicator 'card', it is very difficult to spread without making a mess over your pricey CPU. Thermal Grizzly could be a better alternative but if you are steady with your hand, this paste kit will be sufficient

Overall CORSAIR makes amazing products and their thermal paste is also of amazing quality! This is more expensive than your typical thermal paste, but its because it has wayyyy more of it. You are able to reuse the thermal paste for multiple different air coolers, all in one coolers, or even water cooling. I highly recommend this thermal paste or even upgrade to the XTM70!

Don't you just hate when ALL of your thermal paste dries up way before you start a new build? Well, that's what happened to me. All my paste dried up, and it was the overpriced good stuff too. Had to run out and get some and I knew this stuff was just as good with the other paste. Got the paste, applied it and I was shocked... My CPU sits at 30 degrees Cel. Never got a CPU down to that low...usually 33-34. Good stuff

Was installing a CPU on a new computer. Brushed the factory paste on the case by accident. Went and bought this to replace what I messed up. Reading the reviews this paste probably keeps the temperature down atleast 10 degrees cooler than the factory stuff. Came with a squeegee and a template to accurately spread the compound. Overall I was happy that I messed up the factory stuff and replaced it with this product

I was working on a build and made and had to change the orientation of the AIO after I completed building it a few days later. So of coursea repaste was recommended and I did not want to wait a day or two for an only purchase to ship. Thankfully, Best Buy had this available locally so I picked it up and I am quite pleased. There was a 5-10 degrees difference in Celsius from the thermal paste off the stock cooler when running applications and games like Modern Warfare, Tomb Raider, and Folding@Home. Idle temps however were about the same but that's to be expected. Sure there are a lot better thermal compounds out there but this works well in a pinch and I will be using this to repaste my other computers.

Do yourself a favor and replace any stock thermal paste that comes with a cooler. This paste keeps my ryzen 5900x cool after it was having temp issues because i did not replace the thermal paste that came with a new cooler. Comes with a stencil and simple instructions so you can’t possibly mess up. Highly recommend!

I got it to repaste the heat sink on my 2012 MacBook Pro and it did the job. My 2012 MacBook pro was running really hot. CPU and GPU temps in the mid to upper 60s while idle, and mid 90s to 100C while under load running a Cinebench benchmark. So hot, I suspect it was thermal throttling the CPU and limiting performance. I took apart the laptop and removed the heat sink. The old thermal paste which was now 8+ years old was dried out, flaky and pretty much non existent, therefore not creating a good bond between the heat sink and CPU die. I cleaned all the contact surfaces, applied new beads of thermal paste to the CPU and GPU and reassembled everything. Now my idle temps are in the mid to upper thirties and mid to upper 70s when running the same Cinebench stress tests. It never even breaks 80C. The heat sink and fans are actually doing something now. If you try the disassembly yourself, do yourself a favor and pick up an iFixit toolkit too. It makes working with the tiny screws and delicate electrical connectors much easier.

I needed some Thermalpaste in a pinch, normally I go with Arctic but this is what was most available to me at the time. After I applied it and looked at the results, this was alright. nothing bad. The applicator was a little different, but not difficult to use. You might find a better product for a better price elsewhere, but this isn't terrible.

ive used "low" and "high" tier thermal pastes. Not all thermal pastes are equal, although i would consider this one a safe bet to get you by, it will work as expected like basic thermal paste. XTM50 I have used many times because corsair pastes are about the only i can purchase within 10 minutes of my home without ordering online. It will do the job, but is rather average nothing spectacular. although many other pastes i would consider to be much better quality and provide better performance all around for equal or less $. The xtm70 paste is easily 2 or 3x the price of this one with similar performance so this would be the only worthwhile paste from corsair for the price if i had the time to wait for shipping, for the same price i would step up to noctua NT h1(H2), arctic mx 5 or mx 6, or if you want top performance get thermal grizzly conductonaut extreme if you understand how to handle liquid metal.
