Don't taste it, it's probably toxic and I was joking. Or do taste it. You do you (but seriously, don't taste it and wash your hands VERY thoroughly after working with it). But on with the review! This thermal paste is bit thick for my liking. That made application a pain. Thankfully they include a little template doodad that helps you get it on the CPU evenly. Do not go to heavy on this stuff, as it spreads a lot once you're mounting your heatsink or cooler solution. It isn't electrically conductive, though, so making a mistake and getting some on the motherboard or exposed wiring of the processor isn't that big of a deal. That's a good thing, because this tough to clean out of crevices. As far as thermals, it isn't going to break any records, but it does seem to hold up to high heat very well without breaking down.

I needed some Thermalpaste in a pinch, normally I go with Arctic but this is what was most available to me at the time. After I applied it and looked at the results, this was alright. nothing bad. The applicator was a little different, but not difficult to use. You might find a better product for a better price elsewhere, but this isn't terrible.

Purchased this on a time crunch, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance. I was doing a DEEP cleaning of my son's PS4 and my PS4 Pro, and decided to redo the thermal paste on the CPU since the systems were getting a little old. Not only had the original paste on both hardened, but there was significant spill-over off of the surface. After cleaning it all off, I realized my supply of paste had gone bad, and this was the only option available to me that day. I figured if it wasn't very good quality, I could just order some and redo it again. Not only is this paste more than good enough for the PS4/Pro, both systems have been running MUCH quieter since, and having fewer slowdown and crashing issues during LONG marathon sessions that has left our systems on for days at a time. Actually, we haven't had a single crash since the redo now that I really think about it. Ok, here is the kicker for this stuff. It is thick. Really thick (so be prepared for that). It is thick enough, and stays thick enough when heated, that I was able to replace a torn thermal pad on the original PS4 without issue. Yes, I should have been more careful while cleaning, but this stuff saved my behind from having to order new thermal pads. That alone blew my mind, and I am incredibly happy that I went with this particular paste.

This is a little different from most thermal paste I have used. It is a little thicker and is much easier to spread if you use the tool that comes with it instead of just spreading it with a finger. That being said, I'm sure that's why it is high performing. I used it on a gaming computer installation and it worked perfectly. Excellent product.

Great thermal paste. Has been working really well for me in high CPU applications. Comparable to Arctic 6, but with a very nice little kit for application.

Paste goes on very cleanly and spreads very evenly. Just the right viscosity and gives vastly superior temps to any kind of pre-applied paste in my personal experience. You get a lot for your money so if you only need a one off paste re-application, I'd recommend looking for a slightly smaller tube. All in all, fantastic paste for a great price!

Needed something quick when my Noctua paste ran out. Overall this paste does as its supposed to, tube should last me over a year of paste/repastes when messing with CPUs and GPU's. Keeping my 3900x with a X63 pretty cool. comes with applicator and box can be re-used to store it. love corsair, lets see if their paste stands upto the test. knocked off a star cause they should make a smaller ver of the XTM50.

Excellent thermal paste if you’re looking for something quick! Works like a charm. Also good for the dollar if you don’t want to spend on the name brand pastes.

The paste came with a guide and a scraper which made it really easy to apply, also the paste worked as intended!

Works amazing. I used on my Sons PC after the old thermal past dried up on his CPU. He got very low temps afterwards and we both were very happy.

Core i9 9900k running 60-65 C under high load with this paste and air cooler. Insane! I like this paste.

I'm a PC newb and myu CPU was running at 79 to 80, which I read was too hot. I was nervous to clean my CPU and apply new paste but I bought a custom pre-build from CYBERPOWER PC and they did an AWFUL JOB putting it all together (PS... NEVER BUY FROM CYBERPOWER!!!) Anyways, this paste comes with a stencil that was confusing at first but corsair has a youtube video that explained everything well. I cleaned my cooler heatsink and my CPU, reseated the CPU and then applied the paste perfectly with the stencil. My old past was only 6 months old and already looked worn and cracked. My CPU temps went from 80c to God of War to around 70-72 at the most. Very impressed with this product
