    This dehumidifier was exactly what we needed in our newly built home. Our basement is approximately 2000 square foot. After setting it up on one end of the basement near the sump pump, the humidity is down throughout the basement. Very efficient. I would definitely recommend.

    It does work but I don't think it covers up to 4500 sq ft. My basement is 2800 sq ft and it could not reach 50% humidity even when running constantly (it got to about 55%-ish from 75%). I think it's good for up to 2000 sq ft-ish.

    Small but mighty, but definitely not worth the list price, only get it when on sale! Works very well, easy to empty.
