Nugget Ice maker failed

I was happy with my ice maker for at least three days then it started making a whining noise and I had to return it. While the ice maker was working properly before the noise it was very quiet running. Ice was dropping in the tray a few minutes. There was a good amount of ice to use for multiple drinks. The ice nuggets were enjoyable to chew, it could of just been a defective unit I received but i enjoyed it until it failed.

Love the ice. Fast and keeps up pretty well. I use filtered water, and it tastes great. Melts in drinks pretty quick, but I freeze it for later. Lasts a long time then.
