Mustaine went in and did what should be done when albums are remastered, he remixed each album. This album sounded great in 1992 and still does today. It sounds even better now and I did not think it was possible where most remixes are ruin jobs of the original ruined album. All the Megadeth remasters are remixed and I highly advise you to snag your copies up!

The quinessential thrash band MEGADETH finally remasters and repackages its most successful cd to date "Countdown to Extinction" The sound is much better, much fuller and the bonus tracks are much appreciated!! "Symphony of Destruction" just rips out of your speakers. If youre a new fan check this out, if youre an old fan revisit this metal classic!!

This album brought Megadeth to the mainstream. This is a great album with many great songs. It's my second favorite Megadeth album. I purchased this album for somewhere around 5 bucks. Add this album to your collection if you haven't yet.

Along with rust in peace, countdown to extinction is one of Megadeths classics. A must own for any megadeth fan or fan of thrash metal. Symphony of destruction is an anthem for the ages and deserves to be in your collection.

Countdown to Extinction , in my opinion, was Megadeth's last GREAT album. I can honestly say that there's not a weak track on the whole record.

Love the songs on this cd. Symphony of destruction and sweating bullets are worth the price alone. Killer cd for all metal heads!

After leaving Metallica I thought Dave Mustane had to have been crazy but he picked up the guitar and wailed on it in Megadeath.

This is my all-time favorite album from MegaDeth!! It stays in my car. Can't believe I got it for such a low price.

I had the tape when I was a kid. There are only a couple good tracks, but they are good ones.

I got hooked on Megadeth about 2 months ago and now have every album..Awesome vocals, awesome lyrics & awesome musicians make for one awesome group. Get this gem if you don't already have it!!

This album deserves to be part of Megadeth's classic albums. It's the last true metal album they did for a while. Even though the others were still good(except risk).
