The plus: Nice looking and quiet. The minus: running 10+ hours in a small bedroom, with the whole house at 20% humidity, this unit could barely raise the level to 21%. I haven't tried running it 24 hours, with the bedroom doors closed all day, to see what happens. I'm an engineer and conclude that this product fails miserably at it's task. Maybe it needs to be placed directly next to the bed, and have it blow in your face to work. Either way, it's a failure.

I bought this for my adult daughter when she was really sick and it worked great. I read online about putting in some essential oils to help her breathe better and it worked with no problem. She recently went off to college and I decided to move it to use in another room and saw the blue container cracked and now useless. I asked her what happened and she said she did nothing different and hadn't even used it in the past couple of weeks since feeling better. I emailed the company with pictures and they sent a reply asking if I used essential oils. I have not replied yet but after further reading I see it is not recommended in this product and I feel I might be out the money I paid after only using this a few times. The packaging should be VERY clear to not do this or they should improve the design to allow for oils to be added for medicinal or theraputic purposes. I feel I am an intelligent person and if I felt it was OK to add oils after doing some research online I am sure there are many others that have done so as well and most likley ended up with the same result. I do hope Crane will replace the container at no charge and it will be a lesson learned for me.

It does its job as a humidifier as long as it is for personal use only. Does not really work for an entire room. But everything else about it kinda sucks. First, you have to empty it before or after every use or the condensation will make its way into parts of the machine that can not get wet. Second, it says to disinfect it once a week. That is a lot of maintenance for something I use only at night. Third, refill it is really difficult. Especially if you are smaller or have no place to set the tear drop shaped container down while it fills with water. All in all I do not recommend this product. For the price I would have bought something else even if I had to spend $20 more.

It wasn't what I expected. First, the dial doesn't matter you get the same intensity. Then that's the other thing it doesn't always blow out anything but air. It seems to be a hit or miss thing. I don't think I will purchase this brand again.

To refill one has to balance the tank on the base of the narrow top, then position the opening under a kitchen sink on bathtub faucet. It is then difficult to pick up. I dropped the tank from one of the two I bought and it broke, and is gone. Should have been more durable. I seldom have things break on me.

low quality plastic, very thin, my second one broke just like the first one, the plastic crumbled on me on the top, the body detached from the bottom of its own bottom part. not very easy to clean. not a fan, I weant a different brand and route after the 2nd one.

This product doesn't have a lot of power. It makes steam, but it barely shoots out of the nozzle and, therefore, barely does anything other than make the area near it damp. Not worth it.

This was a great humidifier for about 2 weeks and then the motor broke. We returned it and got another one of a different brand.

Product went back. Humidifier was not working at all when we received it. Gave 2 stars for fast shipping.

Got this because my daughter was sick but you can't put the Vicks vapor stuff in it.

Was excited to receive my item really not a great humidifier. Water leaked on area where it was blacked. Item pricey for quality.

After 1.5 years of ownership the small fan started making loud noise and stopped pushing enough air to get the mist out of the unit. Until that point it worked quite well. Was able to humidify a large bedroom. Tank lasted about 15 hours on medium. Used it only in winter so it ran for about 8 active months. Previous Sunbeam lasted about 15 years. I'd stay away from this brand. since the failed part is common to all.

This is my first humidifier. It is quiet and produces nice mist. In general I wake up feeling better. I am rather disappointed though with its function. It is cheaply made everything is wiggly and 3 parts just sit on top of each other without any click out other mechanical connection. Tank is sealed and impossible to clean and there is mold or algy at the bottom of the tank and there is no way to reach it to clean. There is no filter so I probably have minerals from the water in my lungs. I will replace it.

I bought this for the cute factor. Reviews say quiet, but it's not. There is a low buzzing noise that perhaps others might be able to tolerate but I cannot. I had it on a dresser in a small bedroom and could hear it. Other than the buzzing, I liked it.
