Just as nostalgic as I remember! Trickier than MarioKart, but rewarding

This game is amazing! As someone who grew up playing the original during the PlayStation days, I was excited to hear about this game. While Mario Kart is for casual or novice gamers, this racing game is for more experienced gamers as you cannot depend on items to win a race for you. You'll need to know how to actually drive and drift, so if that is not your thing, I would recommend sticking with Mario Kart.

Just as fun as it used to be. Brought back so many memories.

When this game first came out it was pure bliss and an amazing alternative to Mario Kart, with more skillful racing rewarding players with faster times and secret shortcuts. The game is still great but since they have introduced microtransactions it has soured my opinion on the game a little, they are cosmetic but the prices of the items you normally get by spending ingame coins have went up as a result, making it pretty grindy to get what you want.

This game is super fun, it has a steep learning curve but once you get it, it’s even better than Mario kart

This game will remind you somewhat of Mario kart. The tracks are fun and playing is pretty good. It is fairly easy to get accustomed to playing as well.

This was always one of my favorite games as a kid. I love anything Crash! I still love these games today! I’m so glad they came out on the Nintendo Seitch for my younger child to enjoy as much as I did.

A great remake of the best game of the category. Good graphics, sound and gameplay plus lots of content but i HATE the microtransactions.

The game offers everything it promises and more. The new graphics are great, the mechanics and the AIs are top notch (sometimes very challenging) as well as the new features. My only complaint would be that, at least for the switch in its handheld mode, the FPS rate is way too low and the game doesn’t look as good as it should or at least as it definitely could, comparing it to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just to mention and example. Otherwise, the game offers everything that millennials miss the most about this awesome game and for $40 bucks it’s definitely worth it.

Game is great for veteran players and new alike. Gameplay is smooth and visually pleasing. The only downside is long loading screens

Bought this game because I have played crash since I was a kid. Still a great game with a new look. Load speed is a tad on the slow side.

I can’t believe they made this game available for Nintendo switch takes me all the way back to when I was 10 and used to play it everyday. Now my son will be able to enjoy it as well

Anticipating this release after playing the original a countless number of hours I was very impressed. The graphic overhaul was great along with the addition of numerous characters and modes. While docked the graphics are good, but not up to par with PS4 version, playing handheld it looks great. The team has announced a number of updates since the release.

Yea the developers won't be providing any more future content updates for this game, but I didn't purchase the game for continuous content updates and neither should you. The original CTR is one of my favorite racing games and I'm looking forward to jumping back in to play Adventure Mode and multiplayer with friends.

A great game that is pretty faithful to the original back on PS1. The only thing that sets the game back is the online storefront. While it is decently manageable to grind for the unlockables, you must be attached to online at all times to accumulate currency and thats where the microtransactions come into play if you aren't patient enough. Overall though, if you don't spend anything additional on this game it is a great value ranging between $30-$40 depending on who has it on sale.

Another great Christmas gift that I was able to get on the black Friday sale. Our son requested this and it was great to get it for $19.99 He was happy when he opened his gifts Christmas morning and I was happy with the price. A win win. Also loved the drive up pick up. So helpful this year.
