With his velvety voice and engaging personality, both of which shine through in every song, Mr. Buble just gets better and better with every CD he records. You can hear his smile in many of the numbers; in others his longing. He feels what he sings, and the listener feels it, too. You’ll never be sorry you bought any music by Michael Buble.

Bubles Crazy Love Soothes the Soul

When it comes to the music you hear on the radio, much of it is rash and harsh. Some of it is mellow and wonderful. Michael Buble's "Crazy Love" is a welcome addition to the softer, more mellow side of music. Sure, this type of music is not for everyone. Some people will call it and him boring, too mellow, too soft, but I find his voice soothing and his music a great addition to what I already own and listen to on a regular basis. I really like the cover and the art on the CD case. It is fun, colorful, and retro looking on the inside. I know this doesn't make a difference in regards to how the music sounds, but it put me in a good, light-hearted mood from the moment I opened it and popped it into the CD drive on my laptop. I always like it when artists "do their own music" because they can ruin what someone else already did well. I'm happy to state that even though Michael did do a re-make of some other popular songs from the past, he did not ruin them. They sound wonderful. I was especially curious to see how "Georgia on my mind" would sound since I love Ray Charles' version. It did not disappoint me. I find the album as a whole pretty upbeat, fun, entertaining and something I could listen to again and again. It is well put together and it's nice to see the title come to fruition after revealing what the songs are and what they have to say about "Crazy Love" because love and can be just that- CRAZY!

    Amazing album!!!

Okay, in the spirit of full disclosure, I must say that I have never been a big fan of Michael Buble. Yes, he is talented - however, I always saw him as a knockoff of Dean Martin or Bing Crosby...and, not a great one at that... This album has changed all that. In fact, I immediately started creating a playlist for my MP3 player, as soon as I heard this album. It makes sense, though, since many of the songs were produced by David Foster - who is a musical genius. The opening song, "Cry Me a River", has great instrumentals, Wonderful brass licks, and is more like what I expect from old-school Harry Connick, Jr. I was pleasantly surprised. The album just continued to get better. The songs with brass are great, there are wonderful trumpet lines and for the most part this album has a wonderfully romantic feel to it. I was also pleasantly surprised by "Heartache Tonight", which in the past only inspired me to change the station on the radio. No longer. This version is awesome and fun and I can listen to it over and over, again. The eleventh song, "Baby", is the best version of the song that I have ever heard...and, as a trumpeter, I can't end the review without mentioning "Stardust." To most jazz instrumentalists, this is one of the most boring, required songs they have ever played (me included) and yet - Michael brings a new "old" feeling to the song with the addition of the background singers and the sound of a vinyl album. There are a few songs that could have been left off of this album. I was not impressed with "All I Do Is Dream" and "Whatever It Takes"...however, this does not stop me from giving this album a 5!! Can't wait to go listen to it, right now!!!

    Pretty Good

Though I've heard some of Buble before, this is my first time being exposed to an entire album. My best summation is that it's good. It's not great; it's not bad. It's a solid, nice-to-listen-to album. I've always liked that Buble doesn't seem to have the hubris to believe that he can do better than the legends who made famous the songs he remakes. The flip side of that is the risk that there will be little point to a remake -- if it's the same as the first, why bother? In this album, he mostly does a good job of walking the line between those two ideas. He sticks to the character of the original songs, recognizing the quality therein. But he (or his composer/s) also adds a bit of modernization through some creative updates in orchestration. Some are more significant than others, some more effective than others, but the overall effort is noticeable and appreciated, balancing slightly more modern scores with Buble's fairly traditional vocals.

    Another Great Buble Addition

I always enjoy listing to Michael Buble and this is no exception. I expect to hear some great covers and this album provides that – I particularly enjoyed “Cry Me a River” – it was a new take on the song – the intro to the song is great and is not at all what I expected. His voice as always is smooth and reminiscent of past greats. However, I really enjoyed his two new songs as well. “Haven’t Met You Yet” is an upbeat, fun song that you can’t help but sing along with and feel happy when hearing it. "Heartache Tonight" is another upbeat song on the list and provides a perfect compliment to some of the slower songs like "You're Nobody Until Somebody Loves You". “Baby (You’ve Got what it Takes)” is a great duet and is another of my favorites on the album. Overall, this new album is a great addition to Buble’s work, providing a great mix of old and new, and hits the mark.

    Wonderful

Michael Buble's silky smooth voice, wonderful melodies, perfect arrangements, and faithful yet innovative interpretations of classics are better than Sinatra. He makes the women want him, and the men want to be him. There isn't another artists today who is as skilled or talented as michael buble. But even with all of that in his favor I was shocked at my husbands reaction. He groaned as usual when I put the CD in the player. He really isn't into this kind of music, and figured he was in for another chick love song fest, which he puts up with because he loves me. But the first song hooked him, and by the third song he commented that "this guy ain't bad." That is high praise coming from my husband. He actually listenned to the entire CD and was quite impressed. My husband also really hates it when a new(er) artist sings an old song, but he loved Michael Buble's versions of some classic favorites. All in all Michael Buble has another hit CD on his hands and is sure to win awards and acclaim.

My first Buble experience - pretty enjoyable

I had never heard anything by Michael Buble before this album, but a close friend of mine is a crazy fan, so I was excited to discover what her obsession was all about. I understand this CD is a bit different for him - the live band in the studio as well as the song selections - but I enjoyed it quite a bit. "Cry Me a River" was fascinating, unlike any version I've heard. I especially liked "Crazy Love" and "Georgia on my Mind." Both were gorgeous and made me melt just a bit. His voice is unique, and his songs range from fun, big band-esque to quiet and simple - no frills needed. It's not exactly my normal style of music, but I can definitely appreciate his talent and creativity. Plus, now I have a new understanding of my friend's love!

"Crazy Love" is a long-awaited, catchy new album from Michael Buble. I enjoy the original tunes he has written as of late, and as always, his renditions of the classics. I did not, however, like "Cry Me A River", as something about the song just sounded odd to me. My husband loved the entire CD, but maybe that is because he is Canadian! I really liked the song "Haven't Met You Yet," and even more so when I watched the accompanying video. Michael is so suave and captivating, and having a visual puts this song over the top for me. I do feel that he is creating more of a "pop" sound with this album, which is quite different than his original material, but his voice is smooth and resonant, and always a pleasure to listen to.

    Uncomplicated Enjoyment.

Michael Bublé's albums are usually packed with vocally complex versions of standards, this one has some nicely done but pretty simple tracks and I think that is why it went over big with my nephew. My niece (33 months) and nephew (17 months) were present the first time I listened to it, she danced a little but he just could not stop moving/dancing to it and smiling like a jack-o-lantern. He stopped in his tracks the second he heard the first note of "Cry Me A River" and was especially happy and wiggly during "You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You", he even swayed slowly with his sister during "Georgia On My Mind" but I believe his favorite was "Baby (You've Got What It Takes)". I enjoyed the music itself because let's face it... Michael Bublé's voice is amazing no matter what he is singing but my nephew's reaction to this album made it a real winner for me.

Now I will admit that I have never even seriously thought about purchasing a MB cd though I have enjoyed his tv performances. This is just not my kind of music. However in my attempt to branch out a bit, I gave "Crazy Love" a try and found myself really enjoying the music. From the first beats of "Cry Me A River" I was hooked. By the time I got to "Heartache Tonight" and Baby (you've got what it takes) I was a fan. As a person who doesn't like to listen to "old standards" and song covers, I was skeptical I would enjoy it. But this cd left me in a better happier mood than before I started and I was in a great mood for hours after I stopped listening. Thanks, Michael! I needed that!

In the interest of full-disclosure - I was not a fan of Michael Buble when I received this album. I didn't dislike him, I just wasn't that familiar with his work. So, this was new for me. I don't have anything to compare this album with since I don't know his previous works. That said, I liked the album for the most part. I wasn't sure what to expect and there were some catchy tunes, some smooth and relaxing tunes too. Most of the songs I believe are covers of old-time stuff and they were redone pretty well. I could tell what the old song was, but they all had an updated feel to them. And Michael Buble's voice is really beautiful. Overall, I enjoy listening to it.

Excellent cd, wide variety of stylings

I found this cd really enjoyable. The interesting thing about it is that the song choices are really from a variety of styles, yet Buble takes them and makes them his own. While the variety of pieces on this are covers, he still manages to own them - to make you believe him. As always, his voice is amazing, and takes you to another place. There are several standouts, including All of Me and Stardust, to name a couple. It occurred to me recently that there is enough variety on here to make this a great choice for a gift for almost anyone. I would say that even for a list of mostly covers, this is still a truly sincere album.

"I have to admit I didn't love this cd when I heard it the first time but it has grown on me and is now one of my favorites. While I prefer the Eagles version of "heartache tonight" and Ray charles singing "georgia on my mind", I like the jazzy pop spin that Buble puts on these and the other tracks.. Loved baby (you've got what it takes) and whatever it takes. If you are a fan of the old style crooners like Sinatra or even a fan of Harry Connick Jr. then you will like Crazy Love. It's sure to get you in a good mood and your toes tapping."

    Crazy Love, Made me 'Crazy"

I got this the day it came out! I am a huge fan of Michael Buble, as Buble claims, he says that he realized that all his albums are about love, and this album is more into it than the others and I totally see that! His music is awesome, and even the remakes of older songs, I can't wait for the day to own all his albums, I am really disappointed that Best Buy does not have (or not yet) the bonus track version! I would have bought that too, I just wish CD's weren't this expensive anymore, if they were like 7 bucks each I'd buy a lot more! Highly suggest this album or any of his others if anyone has/ has not heard any of his music, you will love it!

As far as I'm concerned Michael could just sit there and look pretty, it's a super big bonus that he can sing as well! I liked this CD but not as much as I liked "It's Time" from 2005. One of my top five fave songs is on that CD, it's called "Home". I liked "Crazy Love", I liked it a lot, I just didn't love it. It is well done and Michael sounds beautiful as usual, I just didn't feel like any one song or sound stood out on this CD. Either way, I remain a big Michael fan and will await his next CD.

I've never owned one of Michael Buble's CDs. I have to say it is amazing. I don't care for all the songs, I think a few could have been left of this album. I love his sound, he's such an "old soul". I love his covers of "Crazy Love","Heartache Tonight" and "At This Moment". A lot of artists cover older songs, but fail to deliver. I feel Michael hit the nail on the head with this one. I recommend this album to anyone looking for some nice relaxing music, with a few upbeat songs.

I'm a huge Michael Buble fan so I was very excited to hear he had a new CD. At first listen, the majority of the CD is pretty mellow, but I have a feeling it's one that will grow on me even more over time. The first song, Cry Me a River is an amazing arrangment with the big band feel and he completely does justice to Georgia on My Mind (which I was a little worried about to be honest). Defintely worth the money. Loved it and can't wait to listen to it even more!!!

I wasn't sure I like the idea of a bunch of songs that I already loved, being resung yet once again. But I have fallen in love with the emotional, smooth sound of Michael Buble! I have been given the opportunity to review this album and feel so fortunate! I liked some of his music prior to this but can say I REALLY see him as a soulful, talented musician now. My personal favorites are Crazy Love, Hold On, Georgia on My Mind, and At This Moment. I have been recommending this to my friends.
