the sound quality is great but the feel of the build feels extremely cheap & surround sound it's true surround sound but not bad. The microphone seems to work but couldn't get to work well with a few of the games(cod:black ops) without being to low of volume on other side of mic. Good price point but almost wish I'd requested something better for x-mas(was an x-mas gift if you didn't figure that out) since it isn't as good as I'd hope since there wasn't many reviews early winter.....non really said anything about the functionally feel of the surround sound doesn't seem to work as well as my 5.1 klipsch speakers...maybe it's just me but it just wasn't what I'd been expecting for a surround sound headset.

Seriously what were they thinking. Before this pair i owned a pair of Shure SRH440's and they recently broke after a long usage, so i decided to get one of these since they were around the same price and expected them to be good. Imagine Listening to music through a 3 paper bags, this is what this headphone is exactly sounding like. The Quality is Horrible. My Apple Earbuds sound better than this. Not to mention the Software that it uses does not work at all, The THX Software worked though and the THX Software helped a tiny bit in quality it still did not redeem it. They are comfy though and they feel Light and durable. If i were you i would get The Shure SRH440's, They are a few bucks extra but SO MUCH worth it. Trust me on this. You will not regret it.

I love the sound quality, and it helps to hear just that when I am at the computer. They are very inexpensive. They do not fit comfortably, and you can't lay down with them because your ears would hurt.

I was very surprised that this headset was only $60 because the quality of it is superb! The sound on it is excellent and I love the software that's included. I can customize the sound settings to hear the game exactly how I want to hear it. This headset is definitely worth it and I'm very happy with my purchase

I basically play counterstrike source religiously, so any css player knows that sound is super important. This headset really helps at giving precise locations of enemy players. I can hear when the enemy enter a door across the map etc, foot steps, and on top of all that it makes the guns sound great.

The headphones fit comfortably on the ears so you can usse them for hours. The sound quality is great.

i'm very dis-pointed with the quality of the Sound Blaster Tactic3D Alpha and while i was just using the headsets adjusting the size it just cracked where the piece goes in/out of the headband not even a month after xmas the day i got them. Oh the shining jewel of it all is that creative wont even support them so i'm left with a headset i cant even use do to faulty hardware.....besides the surround sound is horror-able and i'd always had faith with creative and there products i've been a long time customer since the sound blaster 16 days (win95/98 for those noobs). so i guess i'll be getting my audio products elsewhere do to horror-able customer service.......it's been grand but time to move on since creative doesnt believe in quality of service any more.

After playing a few rounds of Bad Company 2, all I can say is wow. This is the worst surround sound headset I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Instead of creating a surround sound environment, it instead makes everything sound like your in the bottom of a damned well. Coming from the G35 to this was a big mistake. Diffidently returning to bestbuy and repurchasing the G35. This headset is Bogus.
