This is the complete 3 movie collection. Has first 2 movies in 3D and 3rd movie in 2D. Blu-ray looks great. Anyone who likes old creature movies will enjoy them.

This collection is essential for any fan of classic Universal horror. Every classic Creature movie is here, including 3D versions of the first two films. The A/V quality of the Blu-ray set is very impressive for the first and third films are there and are a lot of bonus features for the original 1954 film and audio commentaries are included for all three films. The video quality for the second film is very blurry compared to the others in the set. I do not have 3D capabilities, so I can’t comment on the 3D presentations, nevertheless, it was a treat to watch these 2D presentations at Halloween time.

I received the corrected Blu ray set. Glad for that. You can't go wrong with the classic Universal Monsters.

THREE monster movies in here! THREE!!!!! The first 2 are in THREE different dimensions too! That's a big step up from the lame two dimensions most movies pass off as acceptable. Do you guys like black AND white?! These movies give you BOTH. No extra charge for that. WOOO WOO! All aboard the Black Lagoon boat... destination... FUN!!!!

Great set, love having all three movies in one case. The Creature was my favorite Universal monsters.

I used to watch these on a 13" b&w tv. They never get old

This set is basically a repackaging of the 2013 “Creature from the Black Lagoon” 2D + 3D Blu-ray, with the significant added bonus of the two Creature sequels, including “Revenge of the Creature” in both 2D AND in a new 3D restoration. Unfortunately, in the initial pressing of this set, “Revenge” in 3D wasn’t properly authored to 3D Blu-ray format standards and won’t play like a normal 3D Blu-ray on 3D TVs. (Your favorite Internet search engine will provide links to discussion boards with gory technical details if you want more specifics.) If you, like me, loved the 2013 Creature release enough to buy it again to see “Revenge” in 3D, that’s a pretty major disappointment. The good news — Universal is currently pressing corrected discs. the status of this item at Best Buy as of Sept. 15 is “Sold Out” so it appears to have been recalled while Universal sorts this mess out. If you pre-ordered this disc or bought it from Best Buy in late August/early September 2018 right after its 8/28 release, DON’T RETURN IT TO BEST BUY. Instead contact Universal at https://www.uphe.com/contact-support to have them send you a corrected replacement disc. Universal replied back and told me to expect a replacement disc in 4-6 weeks.

Great picture quality for such an old movies. I continue to have some freeze up problems with all these Universal legacy collection movies on Blu-ray if I try to rewind. Major inconvenience because I have to unplug the player and start over. Recommend just buying it on dvd instead of Blu-ray

All 3 movies are great. The 2nd movie picks up where the original finishes. The 3rd is different. Well packaged and the collection is on 2 disks. the extras feature movie promotions. The sound and video is great considering that these were made in the mid 195os.

First Universal gave us the unwatchable DVD18 format which crammed too much material on one DVD causing it to freeze and become unplayable. Then there was the DVD/Blu-ray flipper format --- the sound on my copy of Out of Africa on this format wasn't synched with the image. NOW we get a 3D disc, Revenge of the Creature, that has been "authored" in the Side by Side format. This 3D feature won't play on many Blu-ray players and if it does you have to hunt through your TVs setup to get it to play. Universal has been made aware of the problem and is fixing it --- so don't buy the first pressings of this box set. Wait until Universal Home Video cleans up their mess. I returned my copy to Best Buy the day after I got it.

All three of the creature movies are really good. The monster has a good arc.
