Phenominal film. I always stay away from boxing movies just like basketball movies but was I surprised. I love film and all the parts that go into making a GOOD film that viewers will intellectually enjoy. Stalone got the writing, directing, camera angles, pov motion shots, and the story line just so perfect while starring a Black Male as the lead without people calling this a "black" movie. This was fantastic execution. I applaud all involved and recommend this to anyone who wants to reach their goals. If you're lazy then keep moving, this film will be lost on you.

I watched this film in the movies and couldn’t wait for the release of the dvd. It continues in line with the development of Adonis and his relationship with those in his life. Add Viktor And Ivan Drago and it’s all things reminiscent of the Rocky franchise. The fighting and workout scenes were fresh. And it was great to see both new and familiar faces. It doesn’t disappoint. I loved it!

I gave this movie 5 stars because I am huge fan of the previous Rocky and Creed movies. But also because this is just a great movie on its own. I love that they brought back Ivan Drago and his son into this film, it added so much intensity, drama and a great story to the new generation of Creed. I liked that they show Adonis Creed as a vulnerable person who at first shows some weaknesses but then later on prevails. This is a great boxing movie with a great story behind it.

"Creed 2" manages to be just as engaging as the first film, while also being THE sequel to "Rocky 4" that we've been waiting for! Once again, we have lots of personal drama and lots of brutal boxing action as Adonis "Donny" Creed takes the opportunity to fight Viktor Drago, the son of the man (Ivan Drago) who killed Donny's father (Apollo Creed) in a boxing match back in 1985! If you liked the first film, or any of the "Rocky" films, then you can't go wrong with this one!

Usually sequels don't live up to the original. Absolutely not the case here! This was a very motivating tear jerker at times kind of movie! It definitely has some of those moments you expect when watching a Rocky movie (like a complete beat-down but the character somehow still manages to survive afterwards). I mean come on in real life Rocky would be a vegetable. Technically so should Adonis Creed but hey I'll take it for entertainment value!

I bought this particular one because the steelbook was freaking awesome. This isn't a movie review, instead the case itself. It's well worth the extra few dollars. Only negative is I couldn't find it in store on release day and asked for some help. The associate wasn't willing to help me other than telling me it was somewhere in the store until I demanded that he help me out in finding it. Shouldn't have taken that much but glad I got it.

You pretty much know what's going to happen in Creed II based on the trailer; heck, you pretty much know what's going to happen if you've seen any previous Rocky film. But it's not hard to go all in thanks to both the exciting boxing scenes and the chemistry between Jordan and Stallone in their surrogate father-and-son relationship. Jordan is simply a star at this point. His boxing skills are impressive, and so is his acting.

Great movie, remind me of my childhood When you have to put things in gear and get rid of your butterflies and step in the square circle against s someone who you admire and look up to been there done nat!

Creed 2 is a great movie. Mike B Jordan does a great job playing Adonis Creed, Sylvester Stallone...play Rocky again. It's was great to see Dolph Lundgren play Ivan Drago again. Then you have the new guy...who honest is built like a tank playing Victor Drago. The story the sins of the father would be a good title since Adonis wins the world heavyweight title. And Victor Creed is an up-and-coming new heavyweight contender. Ivan Drago killed Apollo Creed and being that Adonis is Apollo's son Sons of the Father and Son. Storyline as well done fight sequences of well done highly recommended for and a half star movie.

Absolutely superb sequel to Ryan Cooglers amazing Creed. While not quite the phenomenon that the first film was, it does manage to bring more to the franchise. The 4K presentation is superb, actors skin tones look natural and outdoor shots are gorgeous. The Atmos mix has it's moments during the fights scenes ,particularly the LFE roars to life in those moments. The steelbook is a very attractive bit of packaging.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, Rocky and Drago ..again?!? Thought it would be pretty cheesy, but what I got was a great story and honorable exit for the Rocky saga. The return of these two and their legacies was very well done, and actually slipped a positive fatherhood message in with it. If you have any Rocky movies in your collection, especially Rocky IV, then you will want to get this one to wrap things up!

Creed does the job. Not a bad movie. Looks really good in 4k with HDR. Could it look better? Absolutely. But will this 4k disc suffice? From what I can tell, I enjoyed the extra detail so much the movie pulled me in. The thing with 4k movies is, it's supposed to be an immersive experience. Having so much detail on the screen in a fight really pulls you in the story. You feel the pain and agony Creed goes through. The rise back up is one heck of ride in 4k. I was impressed especially when he fights in Russia. This is a great film with great fight scenes. Good acting and the HDR is not over blown. 8/10

I loved this movie in theaters this was a great addition to the rocky franchise and addition to the Creed franchise I love that it went back to Rocky 4 for the storyline the only thing that I didn't like was I have to take the one that I got back to the store and exchange it due to damage to the slipcover I know that doesn't matter to everybody but it matters to me because I pride myself in my movie collection.

I love this movie! It's amazing to see how both Rocky and Adonis have come, but there was the elephant in the room no one really discussed until now - To see characters Like Ivan Drago, Ludmilla, and of course, Viktor Drago interact with Rocky and Adonis, it kept me engaged for the entire film. If you're on the fence as to whether or not to purchase, let me help you: BUY IT! Yes, the 4K Copy!

Creed was such a surprising addition to the Rocky saga when it came out. I'm so glad it came out, and I'm just as thankful for this great sequel. What a genius idea to bring the Drago's back to hash it out with Apollo's kid! So many great moments in this movie. Now if for some reason you haven't seen Rocky IV and you're interested in seeing this one, fix that now! It will fill in the blanks for sure.

I saw the first film and was ready to see the second one when I saw the trailer. When it became obvious that Dolph Lungren was coming into it I was grinning all the way into the theater. Buying this movie was a no brainer after I left the theater. If you haven't seen Creed 1 then check it out before seeing this one, you will appreciate it more and get a good sense of where the saga is gong to.

The "Creed" series is absolutely phenomenal, great storytelling and amazing characters! Now with Creed II it helps if you have seen Rocky IV (and the first Creed obviously) already, to get more of an appreciation of everything! What a great movie! You get more of a perspective of things with the Drago family and it brings even more depth to them as well. Don't sleep on this movie, buy it today!

A rock solid follow-up to the astonishingly great post-Rocky Rocky movie. The worst that can be said about CREED II is it follows the familiar story beats of past Rocky sequels, and misses some of the freshness and artistry of Ryan Coogler's direction. That said, the drama is on point for everyone involved - and even garners sympathy for Drago and son, lifting them above being merely "the bad guys" - it delivers all the training montage goodness you could hope for, and even made good on one thing I absolutely wanted to see that had me grinning like a goof when it happened.

If you are fan of the first one you're going to love this one, Michael b Jordan and Sylvester Stallone are truly great and amazing, what an amazing movie about true spirit that when you get knocked down you should always fight to get right back up, that the heart of a champion is always willing to do what it takes, this is a definite pickup you won't be disappointed.
