It's actually a nice phone for the price, but unfortunately the Windows App Store is lacking. I do like the Operating System though.

Used it to read the news, browse the web, Skype, listen to music, watch videos, take pictures, and send and read e-mails! Works great, and battery lasts a really long time! Also, lots of cases available online for this model. **But one downside is that it lacks a lot of apps that Android has.**

After breaking my phone and meeting a quick cheap replacement I picked up this Microsoft Windows Phone 640 branded as a cricket device. I thought I could unlock it and use a SIM card already had for my AT&T service but I could not beware they require 6 months of paid Cricket service before you can unlock any of their phones such a shame because this is a great dependable cheap phone!

Saw reviews of this phone on Cnet and though I did not want a cell phone I did want the tablet functionality and to be able to sync photos and music to my PC. I also wanted apps, like "Guitar Tuna" and reviews said the camera was excellent. So, I picked this up and have really enjoyed playing with it. I hook it to my home wireless and can do basically anything I want. I hate the phone so I will probably never activate it as that but like I said, it is a killer mini-tablet.

Good phone for the price decent camera great battery

The wife loves it, its got a great camera, good battery life, nice screen with gorilla glass, she is 100% happy with it. This is the same woman who HATED her Alcatel OneTouch and iPhone 5 but this Lumia? It has the wife seal of approval!

Looking for an affordable smartphone? Then this one is a no brainer to purchase. Decent camera quality, nice and big screen, lightweight.

It was working fine but it just stop working not sure what happen

This is hands down one of the best values in mobile tech right now. For $30 forget about the fact that it's a phone. This is a fully featured pocket size Windows RT tablet upgradable to Windows Phone 10 OS (did I mention that it comes with office mobile?) The only complaint I could lodge is that the 8mp Camera could have better sharpness and color capture. Has expandable memory via micro SD (up to 128gb) Comes with charger. Oh yeah and it's also a global GSM phone (carrier locked so make sure you buy the version from the Service provider you plan on using) buy one before they raise the price or discontinue it!

This was my 2nd phone. Lumia 640 is a good device. Good deal for $29. The only downside: the Operating System. Microsoft needs to use the phone BEFORE servicing their customers a buggy update!!! Overall, worth the 29.

I got it for $30 plus tax and it's a very good basic phone. The build is solid. I don't need many apps so I have no problem with the limited windows apps. The apps I use often are Skype, Hotmail, audiobooked, and some ebook readers. They all work well on this phone. The FM is a nice plus. Sound quality is good and the volume can go higher than other phones I have.

The phone is well worth the price and it has good plans. Great battery life and service too.

The price specially is unbelievable. I can bet you won't find anything close on iOS or Android at this price point and the specs. From screen resolution to camera pixel. It's a great phone for grand parents and kids can use without fear or breaking expensive electronics. On the top, with Windows 10 upgrade the user experience is more user friendly than ever. I would highly recommend this phone for back up, grand parents or kid phone without breaking your wallet. I wish it had rich app store ecosystem

a great value for the money and no contract to be bound by. it has everything a $400 smart phone has and works just as good.

Good cellphone with decent price, good camera and features

My first smart phone, and I have lots to discover with its uses. So far I've enjoyed it.

I immediately upgraded to Windows 10, and have been using this constantly for playing music, GPS and pretty much anything besides a phone. Since it is locked to Cricket, and I don't have service with them, I am just using for all the other functions I want. Has all the apps I need, and works well.
