This windows phone is fast functional and great for the price. The only down side of buying this windows phone locked t o Cricket was obtaining the unlock code for a owned device.

I was so impressed and excited when this product came in. Couldn't believe how much money I saved and was even more impressed with the phone. I tell everyone I know now to go just to best buy online to purchase items.

Smart phone for that price is really a great deal.

Windows phone is lacking in apps, but the user interface is the most appealing and simple of all the smartphones. The Lumia 640 is snappy for it's specs and handles day to day usage extremely well.

I have tried the iPhone operating system; it's nice. I had the Android operating system; it was far less intuitive. Now, with this Windows phone, I find it the most user friendly. I despised Windows 8 on my computer, but on a touch screen, it's great. You can easily move and change the sizes of tiles on the home screen. If you're familiar with PC word processing interfaces, the "typing" of texts with this phone is more user friendly. Just touch where you want to correct, and make the correction. It has amazing word prediction ability, I believe superior to the iOS or Android OS. I know that iOS fans can be fiercely loyal, but this is my personal experience. The camera and video on this phone is excellent. You can increase memory with a micro SD card. The battery lasts for several days of use. This phone, currently at only $30, is an incredible value in my opinion. Even if an iPhone is better, is it $600 better? I have issues with carrying around a $650 phone in my pocket. I like how thin this (and the i-Phone) is, so I don't want to put a protective case on it. If I drop a $650 iPhone and it cracks, I would be pretty upset. If I drop this phone and it cracks, I can get it repaired OR just purchase a replacement. No monthly insurance payments needed here. And I DID drop this phone numerous times. It has never cracked. The case backing and the battery came apart, but I just put the battery back, snap the back of the case back, and I'm up and running again. Oh... that reminds me: The battery is consumer replaceable. This is another advantage over the $650 phones. I can even purchase an extra battery if needed, and never have to join all the Samsung Galaxy and the iPhone owners in their perpetual search for a charging outlet. Voice reception is mediocre, which is all you'll get out of any phone. Negatives: 1. Very limited selection of apps. It does have Waze and other popular apps, but nowhere near as many as iPhone or Android. So if you're really into games and apps, this may not be the phone for you. If you really use your smart phone for talk, text, and internet, this phone is fine. 2.This phone will ring only about 4 rings before it goes over to voicemail. Changing this is not so intuitive. But it does have very pleasant ring tone options and alarm clock rings. I hope those of you considering this phone find this helpful. I have been using this phone (and the Lumia 635) for about 8 months now, and it is one of my all-time favorite phones!

It's a great phone, I was able to update to Windows 10, I'm not a big fan of cricket wireless however.

This is an amazing high performance device and can be upgraded to Windows 10. Totally value for money. Unfortunately I had to return as I was unable to register the SIM card with Cricket and long wait time with customer care. but will buy another windows device

I recommend this phone if you are looking for a Windows phone. Only 8 gigs of memory. Works great for the price.
