    I'm a big fan of horror films and was hoping for better on this one. I purchased this movie based on one scene I saw in the trailer. While a decent horror movie, it can't compare to classics like The Shining and The Exorcist.

    Crimson Peak is a very good movie, not as good as Pan's Labyrinth but definitely a must see.

    Crimson Peak is an excellent movie. One of Del Toro's best. Nice special features on the disc too.

    Crimson Peak has a creepy, classic ghost story sort of vibe and cool effects. It's awesome.

    Its not a monster movie you expect from Del Toro, its a ghost story... and a really good one.
