I love horror so it's easy​to win me over but, this Movie had a great twisted plot of a Brother and Sisters scheming ways to swindle, kill, and destroy unwilling Women to fund their endeavors. DTS-X audio format is just as awesome as DolbyAtmos.

This movie does well at playing on a dark Victorian era love triangle. Some startling parts but not necessarily scary. Very visually stunning as well.

When a new bride is whisked away by her husband (with a mysterious background) to his decaying, decrepit castle we are set up in a story with many secrets to uncover. Creepy, chilling, and as exquisitely designed as all of Del Toro's other movies.

My God. This movie takes love of things, family, and work and makes a big weird, but predictable (if you pay attention) story. Pretty decent.

I saw this first in the theater and found that it's visuals really stayed with me even months and months after seeing it. Really enjoying re watching this film and it's bonus features. This is a beautiful but DARK gothic horror story/romance

this one was just advertised wrong, great love movie, not much horror but enough to wet the taste buds. definitely a great one Valentines Day

very good flick the lead actress does a great job but looks a lil too young and Jessica Chastain is magnificent but there isin't a lot of killing

I love G Del Toro's work. Haunting ghost story. That is rich with n color. If your not of fan of period prices or spooks, this may not be for you.

"Crimson Peak" is an atmospheric, eerie, beautiful film. The cinematography is excellent and the set design extraordinary. Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain are particularly good. Don't watch it right before bedtime, though; it will scare you.

If you are looking for a dark and haunting romance film to watch with your significant other...pick this up. Creepy visuals and a great story.

Highly recommend this film, the AQ is very crisp and clear. The PQ for this film is very good.

Similar to Pan's Labyrinth, this movie is different from what the previews would have you believe. Overall, a great gothic romance ghost story.

I didn't love this one as much as some of Del Toro's other films, Devil's Backbone, for example. However, Crimson Peak is visually marvelous.

If you like gothic horror, you'll appreciate this movie. I'm a little bias being a Del Toro fan, but there's a nice twist at the end....

A good film, good actors, the special effects were very well done. I truly enjoy the mind of Guillermo del Toro and the stories he dreams up.

This movie was a little slow, but was filmed well and told a good story. The picture is amazing with a gothic feel. I fell in love with it!

Not meant to be spooky, its more of a creepy romance flick. So don't expect to jump out your seats or anything, personally I'm a fan of this genre. Del Toro did it again with his dark aesthetics, so if you're into that , go for it.

Yes it is an R -rated film, but don't expect over the top gore -- this film puts the story first, and uses the heavier stuff only as needed. Great story, memorable characters. The set for the house is almost another character in itself.

This was not as scary as I was anticipating but I still like the eerie nature of it. The ending is nicely done and Chastain was amazing

Guillermo del Toro's sumptuous gothic romance/ghost story is a great homage to Hammer films!! Excellent acting and story and some chilling ghostly scenes with incredible production design!! A great film to watch every Halloween!
