This game has so far lived up to my expectations. It's a great addition to the storyline and proof that a well created world can be redeveloped with ongoing storylines. The gameplay is fun and the optional missions are an entertaining bonus that give the player the option to take a break from the storyline and level up. As mentioned in the Cons section, the camera angles can get a bit tricky at times, but this is hardly a problem when navigating areas. The cutscenes are beautifully rendered and the standard character animation is well done. I would have preferred the vocals to be in Japanese with English subtitles but the dubs are bearable enough. Overall I enjoy this game and find it to be an enjoyable way to pass time.

Final Fantasy Crisis Core for the PSP is different from the rest of the Final Fantasy games because the gameplay is tactally turned-based, as opposed to strictly turned-based as were most of the previous games. Playing the game is somewhat repetitive but fun and addicting nonetheless. The DMW (Digital Mind Wave) is a new feature introduced in Crisis Core during gameplay which has not been found in any other Final Fantasy games. My experience for playing this game has been very positive. This game is fun and the learning curve is not difficult. I like this game and I definitely recommend it to Final Fantasy fans as well as first time Final Fantasy players.

This game really surpised me.. I did not think that it would be as good as the other Final fantasies made. But i was wrong.. This game is one of the best they have ever made.. The graphics for this game being that it is on a PSP are great. The sound is Clear and awesome. The storyline for this game is also very detailed and easy to follow. The battle system is not like other final fantasy games but once i got used to it everything was great...

If you're into FFVII and want to know about Cloud and his story line CC is your best bet. The cut scenes are astounding! They rival that of a movie. You follow Zach the protagonist in the game and his journey on becoming a SOLIDER Hero. Along the way you are swept through a nostalgic world where Cloud himself once traveled in the FFVII series. FFVII fans will enjoy the recreation of Midgar and other sceneries. Must own for all FF fans.

The game itself as a whole is amazing. I never played the original FF7 game but this one is awesome without having any previous knowledge of the games. The storyline is amazing and the videos are gorgeous. The battle system is a bit strange and takes some getting used to, but it's still good. The missions also provide a nice challenge if you don't wish to continue the story right away. I highly recommend the game to ANYONE.

Overall, this is a great game and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Any fan of Final Fantasy VII will enjoy the way this game brings the story together. There are also a bunch of familiar characters as well as some new ones. The only thing I do not like about this game is the mission system. Sure, it makes the game last much longer, but it is incredibly repetitive and will quickly become boring after doing three or four missions in a row. I believe they are optional, but they help level up your character and obtain better items.

Great game. I would highly recommend buying it since it is one of the best games for the psp so far. They definitely went over the top in the cut scenes and ties in well with the final fantasy VII story line. It also ties up loose ends in the final fantasy vii story. The battles and slots (DMV) get redundant fairly fast and you can get through most battles without any skill (basically just keep hitting X) so it takes most of the challenge out. A must play for the psp at the very least if not to buy.

I am one of the biggest fans of the FF7 Series, so putting 5 five stars on everything is pretty much how I feel about it. It was challenging, it did have a great length to it, the graphics were awesome, and yes it was majorly fun. It helped me a lot with understanding the story of FF7 and I would recommend this to anybody who is a fan of the series. It's worth every penny.

This game is awsome. I'm not that kind of guy who loves FF but this game is cool. the Gameplay is cool. Unlike the other FF games, the combat is not like when you take turns and use whatever skill and you have to wait for it. The story is awsome yet sad. (i don't know why) ANd the graphics is just like as if it was a PS2 version. I highly recommend people to get this game.

As expected form Square-Enix they did a great job in making a prequel worthy of the name Final Fantasy 7. With the great story telling to the ability to play again with your stats in new game plus. Though as this game is great they of course the game is short as expected though other then the shortness of the game it is worth the money.

This game is very fun. The combat system is very is easy to use and you get to choose your skills. The missions are fun and the game is very interactive. I really like the storyline and how everything fits together. I would buy this game over and over again. The graphics are amazing and you will be playing this game for days and days.

if it isnt RPG, it isnt final fantasy! cmon! thats what its known for.. role playing.. ff was only shooter once on the dirge of cerberus.. but who cares?? final fantasy still rocks! and this is a great story esp. if you've played ff vii on ps2.. cloud is just a legacy of zack.. but they both rock! too bad zack had to die..

this game is pure final fantasy genius! if you are a fan of final fantasy 7, you cannot wait to get your hands on this game! you play as zack and you are a part of SOLDIER. if you recall in FF7, you are Cloud, and EX SOLDIER... i cant tell to much because then you wouldnt by the game... but GOOOO BUY IT NOW!!!

For fans of FF7, this is a must buy in comparison to all the other FF7 compilation games. The graphics are stunning, the battle system fun and action packed and the customizability of your materia is endless. The story is awesome and well acted. Even if you are new to the series, this is a great place to start.

I love the story, videos, game play, and just the overall game! The story completely twists around from since the beginning. Zack's goal is to be 1st but then he ends running from the Shinra Company. It is the best video game I have ever played, and still playing! Recommended to everyone!

I almost wrote new leveling and limit break system in the cons about the game but I decided against it. It was annoying at first but after I played it for a while, I got used to it, and it became a unique thing that wasn't too bad. Over all, the whole game is great.

The game is great and gameplay is very easy to pick up right in the beginning. It has great graphics, story and has a great challenge with side mission. This game is a must for the final fantasy fan or for the person that just wants a great action game on the go!

This is an awesome game. If you are a Final Fantasy 7 Fan, this is a must buy, and even if you are not, the game can stand alone and you can have fun with it. Very entertaining, with a well thought out storyline. I recommend this game to anyone and everyone.

CC takes place 7 years before Final Fantasy 7. CC is the story of Zack Fair, a 1st class SOLDIER. Graphics are really goood for a PSP. Storyline is very developed and will keep you playing. The only think I didn't like was the missions repeat too much.

This is an amazing game with intense graphics, great cut scenes and a fascinating story line. All around, this game has amazing replay value, the only con is seemingly repetitive missions. I would recommend this to anyone, even people who aren't fans of the FF VII series would enjoy this game! A mist own for PSP patrons!
