this is a very good game because of mostly the graphics and the story line.... although i dont have any cons posted i dont know what i would say.... theres not really any cons for me... theres just something missing from the game......

It's a good game whether you've played the original or not. It has a different battle system any other ff game I've played but its a good one. Really shows what the psp can do graphics and story wise.

A fantastic game, through and through. Really gives a lot of background information for Shinra and how the characters of the beloved FF:VVI came to be. A must have for any Final Fantasy fan.

Great game if you are a fan of Final Fantasy games. A spin on the combat system, but great flow through the game... still haven't finished it, but so far great!! A must for any FF VII fan!!

This game is the best one out for the Final Fantasy Series for the Playstation Portable, it has incredible story line, returning characters, and contains an array of awesome graphics

I loved it!! i couldn't put the game down. I beat it in 2 days and never realized a video game could make me as sad as it did, I even already knew what was going to happen!!!

THe play style is repeatitive but some of the boss battles are great, recommend for people who want to get into the RPG world. The ending is sad but well worth the play!

Unfortunately, this game might has well been a video like Advent Children because this game was all story and graphics. The gameplay was shallow and repetitive. It is probably the worst "hack and slash" gameplay I've seen. Also, the missions that were supposed to add replay to the game are extremely repetitive and don't really add to the game. The game is really only saved by the story. Overall, the game is good for 1 playthrough.

If you're a fan of FF7, and want to find out how many of the characters met, this is the game for you. If these things don't matter to you, go ahead and skip it. The game play is repetitive, and the missions do get boring, but if you can trudge through, you will be rewarded with an ending that is one of the most touching in FF history.

The first thing that grabs you about this game is the graphics. Sure enough, SquareEnix has worked their magic and put together what's probably the best-looking PSP game ever. However, as a fan of the original game this is based on, I can't help but be disappointed in the story! As a game meant to explore the history of a megahit game, they wasted the opportunity on frivolous things. Inserting a new antagonist into the timeline who was never, ever mentioned before is bad enough. But making him the focus of the story and having him only say the same 5 lines of poetry every time he appears is just shallow and annoying. The battle gameplay, while pretty good at its core (pun not intended), suffers from one particular element that makes battles feel like they're out of your control. The game also feels too easy on Normal difficulty. Overall, I feel this game missed the mark of living up to the original.

I bought the game thinking it would be a lot like the orginal final fantasy 7. I was so off. I hate that in order to level up you have to get all 7's on slots to level up. I also hate that in order to summon a random creature you have to hope that the slots land on that creature. I also hate that for limits you have to use the slots and you can't choose the one you want. The story is good but i don't like the game play. This is one of those games that you'd rent for a week and be done with. I wish I didn't buy this game. One thing that they did do good was explain the story. I would have liked the game better if it included the original final fantasy 7.

This game has a good story. and good graphix but really bad gameplay. the most important thing in every game is gameplay if the gameplay sucks the whole game sucks.
