Steelbook is awesome, but movie is pretty terrible

The steelbox boxet was really nice however the movie seemed to drag on and it was not what I was expecting however I do like the Box.

Wasn’t really into this movie kind of boring not my cup of tea

20 minutes into the movie and i got so bored it went back in its case. I mean the steelbooks really cool looking. Thats the only thing giving it 1 star.

Ran is an epic samurai adaption of King Lear. The movie is about an old warlord who retires and splits his lands between his sons. His youngest son does not agree because he knows his brothers but dad banishes him for being disrespectful. Of course the son was right and eventually there is a civil war. The battles are done on an epic scale and I mean epic. When first seeing this you find out that samurai used guns. This ends up being the only disapointment because you are expecting to see some cool martial arts sword fights. After you get over your asumptions that guns were not used the movie is very enjoyable.

If you appreciate a Great film as a piece of Fine art ,This film would sit next to the Mona Lisa ! If I could I would give it 10 Stars ! So visualy Stunning , Scene after scene of perfect frames and breath-taking landscapes. Kurosawa was a Genius ! and this was one of his Finest ! Don't miss this film , this is what Spielberg hopes to attain to !

For the 60s', the Cinematography is great. Japanese acting then was overacting but it shows so much emotion which fits. This is a Japanese spin on King Lear and it works! I would recommend this a million times over.

Extremely boring and monotonous. Waste of money and I really don't know how much more they want me to write before they publish this.
