Customers enjoy the Express 6-Quart Easy Release Multi-Cooker's ease of use, faster cooking times, and great value for its price. Many appreciate its convenient size and the tender meat it produces. While some experienced issues with the sealing mechanism and steam leakage, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The pressure cooking function is also frequently praised.

I returned a really fancy Instant Pot and bought this instead!
It's so much nicer and way more user friendly without the 900 tricks you have to do just to get an IP to cook your food.
This is actually my second Crock-Pot brand pressure cooker. I use it probably 4-5 times per week so it gets a LOT of use. I think maybe more than normal. Typically, I make Indian food like dals, pulses, grains, etc. A lot of creamy curries and stews. This cooks dry chick peas to perfection in an hour. That's literally cut my cooking down by dozens of hours per week!
Unfortunately, Crockpot does not sell replacement inner pots or gaskets at the time of my second purchase or the entire three years I had the first one so, after the Teflon coating on the inner pot got a little funky I had to replace the whole thing. It isn't ideal and I hope Crockpot gets on the ball with replacement parts because the unit itself was perfectly fine.
It's half the price of the IP brand and never gives me any errors and you don't have to layer your ingredients like a weirdo.
Additionally, the lid, in my opinion, is WAY better than IP brand. This lid does not get hot to the touch. It's all completely insulated, unlike the IP brand and the pressure release switch is away from the valves so you don't have to put your hands in range of hot steam. Another thing Instant Pot doesn't think to do. I can also touch the outside of the cooker itself and while it's warm, it's not super burning hot like IP gets.
I thought I needed some super fancy name brand pressure cooker but man, Crockpot has been around forever for a reason.

I am really glad I got this CrockPot pressure cooker. This particular size is just right for my needs, big enough to cook larger portions is I need to but small enough to not waste a lot of space. It is easy and straight forward to operate. I love the many different functions that are easy to use thanks to the many buttons that set the options for you. I really like being able to use this appliance as a slow cooker as well as a pressure cooker. It does a good job as a slow cooker. That frees me up from having yet another small appliance to find storage room for. This appliance works great, is just the right size, and is very versatile. It is a great addition to my kitchen and I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought this item for the multiple cooking options. So far I've used the saute', slow cooker, & warmer functions. Made chicken & sausage gumbo & pork stew with vegetables. Also made red beans & blackeyed peas. All tasted great...as if I'd been hovering over a hot stove for hours. Love not having to constantly monitor the food, stirring, adding water, etc. The meat was fork-tender & juicy. Will try roast beef next using the pressure cooking feature. The quick & easy cleanup are a major plus. Bought this item online at a great sale price with my $10 Best Buy Reward applied. The curbside pickup service was a breeze! Will definitely recommend this product & the exemplary curbside service to anyone.

I find this to be the Best thing when youre just struggling to have the time to cook meals. pork little over 1 hr, falling off the bone, chicken 11 minutes falling of the bone... based on ammount you cook of course... so simple favorite item in the kitchen, and the interface on this mode has been the simplest one to use for me. I recommend this one over the other brands! getting it on sale for 34 at the time was awesome too! normally found around 89 mark or more.

So I’m new to using a pressure cooker but I absolutely love it! Easy to use and understandable instructions if you are unsure of exactly what to do. So much faster than using the oven and you don’t have to deal with your kitchen/house being hot especially in the summer time. And the meat comes out perfect and tender. You can set a timer for when you want it to start cooking and will shut off after a certain amount of time being on keep warm if you need to go out or to work. There are multiple different modes to use like broil, boil, steam, yogurt option, slow cook and pressure cook.

This is an easy to use multi cooker. This is my first one and I'm amazed at the time savings and with cleanup since all can be done in one pot. Functions are: slow cook, simmer, saute, boil, and warm. Crock Pot has always been a good brand to me and they didn't let me down this time

The Crock-Pot Express is an affordable multi-cooker that gives Instant Pot and rivals such as Breville a run for its money when it comes to offering a range of cooking methods in one easy-to-use appliance.
The Crock-Pot Express has a fairly streamlined design and while it’s not a pretty appliance, it’s more subtle than some of its competitors. The 6-quart/ 5.6-liter cooking capacity is big enough for the average family and it comes with very few accessories, just a small rack, and a spoon, so there’s not too much to store.

Should I buy?
It can slow cook, steam, sauté and pressure cook, and there are a range of presets for cooking different dishes including chilli, stews and yogurt. Alternatively, there’s the ability to manually adjust the temperature and cooking duration to ensure meals are cooked to your liking. On top of that, a delay timer and a keep warm function mean you can have food ready for a time that suits you.

I had been debating getting an Instant Pot, but really didn't want to pay the high price for it. This was on sale for about 1/2 price, so I jumped on it. I really like it! It's got a nice no-stick coating, so it's easy to clean. The Instant Pot accessories work in it, and the recipes also work (the ones I've tried so far) with minimal revision. There are also plenty of recipes specifically for this device. It makes fall-off-the-bone ribs. Hard-boiled eggs in it are great, easy to peel and perfectly done. My favorite so far, though, has been steamed salmon. Toss the salmon on the steamer rack, with some seasoning and veggies, and set it for 4min on high steam. Delicious!

I got this insta pot on a sale after my sister told me that it changed the way she cooked at home entirely, and I gotta say, it's been a pretty big boon for me. I like having rice as a side for most meals and I can cook it in 6 minutes with literally no attention payed to it, just put washed rice in with water and cook. I have also made stews of many sorts inside it, and it has been great to come home to a good piping hot stew.
If you decide to get a pressure cooker/insta pot, this is the one I would recommend.
