It requires effort to get it to work properly.

Bought this for my husband because it looks older and more vintage than some others. It took him about a week to get it to work correctly. He had to you tube troubleshooting videos to finally get it right. There were vibration and speed issues and eventually he had to use tape to get the shock absorber isolation platform to work correctly. If it were up to me I would have returned it immediately when we realized it was going to take so much effort for it to even work but he liked the look so we kept it. Now that it works it sounds good. The Bluetooth and cd function also work well.

The biggest issue that I had with this is that it was not properly packaged, and there were some other rather large issues. The first issue was that the set screw that is supposed to keep the turntable from moving around during shipping was not even screwed in at all, and I had to completely remove the table and reach my hand in to be able to seat that adjustment screw. Without that I had the issue that others described where the table scraped against the top of the unit. Additionally, there were a lot of wires that were hanging all over the place. When we played CDs we could hear what sounded like a scraping noise, and I didn't immediately make the connection that the wires hanging around were making contact with the surface of the CDs. In adjusting the wires it seemed to also adjust the pitch of the record player, so I had to open the unit back up multiple times in order to get both the record player working correctly AND the CD player to play without the extra noise. Ultimately, it fit the bill for what my mom wanted, and I would likely buy it again, however, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to someone who is not comfortable opening up sound equipment to work on it or someone who is not familiar with how these systems work. So on the question of if I would recommend to a friend, yes, I would, but most of my friends are already familiar with these types of systems, not necessarily an all in one, but disparate systems. For these reasons I would only rate it as an average system. Quality was ok, but they need someone to help the person packaging things up/getting ready to ship. Value, on par with other units, and certainly less expensive than others with the same functionality. Less work than buying individual systems and hooking them up to do the same tasks that this completes. Ease of use was rated low because of the extra work that I had to do in order to get the unit working how it should come from the factory. However, the actual usability of the system is easy to use and understand without needing to really review the instructions.

Love the hole system but, I'm not real happy with the needle for the turn table. With the needle they use it make the system a little cheep to me. I had a cheep system years ago but they had a diamond needle and made it sound richer.

I had to return this as soon as I turned it on. The platter kept scraping against something, the speed was extremely inconsistent. I suspect this was because of the screw that is used during shipping, but no matter what I tried, the scraping continued. I really wanted to like this--it looks good, and the sound from the radio and CD was better than acceptable.

I have a huge collection of vinyl ranging from practically new to paper thin from overuse. Thankfully this system has manual pitch control, so any time I change records, I can hone in the right speed for it. It's nice and loud, the speakers that come with it are surprisingly good. I've not messed with the AM/FM radio, as it was kind of an afterthought when buying this.

Absolutely horrible, they should be embarrassed to sell this. The turntable which continued to rub against something, ( someone else complained about this so it's not a one off) barely had to power to turn the record and the speed fluctuated. Heartbreaking. A plastic toy meant to bamboozle the consumer. Avoid at all cost.

Purchased as a Christmas gift; it did arrive on time. However, it was not opened for months as my daughter was quarantined at college. The player doesn’t not work. There’s something wrong with the ‘arm’. I’m wondering if this can be repaired by the squad or at very least exchanged? My daughter loves playing her records so cannot be without one.

I received this as a birthday present. This is my first record player so I’m still learning the ropes. I was quite pleased to have something that could play all of my CDs. If you are looking to have a device that gives you more options than playing records look no further.

The sound on this stereo is not good at all. The main reason I bought it was the turntable and I have never seen an arm like the one this one has. When you pick it up flops everywhere like it’s not connected. Maybe I got one that isn’t right and just never got it corrected I don’t know.

Not as well constructed as I’d hoped. The slide control for function changes should be reworked by manufacture.. the sound is at best average. I don’t think I’d buy it again. You get what you pay for I guess, but this wasn’t bottom line and had a brand name.. Hope it lasts, but not holding my breath

I bought this for my father for the holidays. Not only does it remind him of an old stereo he used to have. But it has the new tech that he is taking advantage of.
