Good martial arts movie Michelle Yeoh plays a good role reminds me of the old school shaolin style kung-fu movies.

Lots of action and adventure. A strong movie with strong acting, script, messages, and overall experience. Definitely a movie that you will want in any movie collection!

It's one of the best movies I've ever seen. I love the overall story of loss and missed opportunities. But most of all this 4k translation is beautiful. The dolby atmos sounds epic when you pair it with the right sound system. I fully recommend buying this its a much better translation from the original bluray version.

Crouching Tiger received so many accolades when it was released. It is a beautifully made picture with great action and endearing stories. 4K Steelbook release is a must have for your collection. The case itself is beautiful in presentation, and hides inside everything you could ask for in the way of bonuses and extras. With a modern 4K release of a blockbuster film like this, you can rest assured that the image quality is top level, and it doesn't disappoint. The audio defaults to Dolby Atmos in Mandarin (7.1 compatible) with English subtitles, which is perfect. Other options are available as well. Don’t miss out on this GEM !!!

lots of great special features and it looked amazing. Part of the reason I bought this was when i first watched it on hbo max they didn't have the original Mandarin audio and only Spanish which while funny was weird and made for an odd viewing. this movie just looks so gorgeous if you have a 4k tv and player highly recommend

Set in a distant time in China, the movie tells the story of Master Li Mu Bai (Yun-Fat Chow), an accomplished swordsman and martial artist. His sword, the Green Destiny, is renowned for its grace and superiority in a fight. However, Mu Bai wishes to leave the ways of the warrior behind him and asks his friend, Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh) to take the sword and present it as a gift to their friend, Sir Te (Sihung Lung). Mu Bai explains that the sword holds too many memories of the past and he wishes to retire in peace. Shu Lien is a skilled warrior like Mu Bai and harbors feelings for him which he reciprocates, but does not act on due to the fact that Shu Lien was widowed by Mu Bai's best friend.

My favorite international film of all-time. Also easily my favorite Wuxia film ever. Ang Lee's masterpiece. The action is easy to follow, the stunt work done by the actual performers themselves is commendable, the music is perfect, and the scenery is breathtaking. Also a very easy plot to follow. Should have won the Oscar for Best Picture over Gladiator, in my opinion.

video transfer was very dissappointing compared against the blu ray version.

I can’t believe it’s been 21 years since this film debuted in the cinema. It was excellent then and it’s still excellent today this transfer is Will not disappoint. I’ve been sitting on the fence about purchasing this film because I didn’t think it would look as good as it did in the Cinema . I was a wrong it looks just as good and I think you will be greatly satisfied with it’s quality

Saw this when it first came out and I remember being in awe of the fight scenes and choreography...they still look great today, even with the improvements made in special effects, etc. over the years. Actors do a splendid job of bringing the characters to life. Beautifully filmed and a wonderful story too. If you haven't seen this, you must and if you own it on dvd already, I would recommend the upgrade to bluray. It won't look as good as some newer films do, but this is definitely worth the double dip. Enjoy!

The movie itself needs no introduction. It’s one of the best martial arts films ever made, and in my opinion the most beautifully presented. This steel book is a nice tribute to the movie, and the 4K presentation looks just gorgeous. Well I suppose there could’ve been more goodies inside the steel box, as it is it’s a very wonderful set and if you love the movie, this is a great buy.

I watched this picture in the theater and enjoyed is brilliant sweeping action and more action scenes. When it came to home video, I just had to have it, so I bought the Dvd, special edition, which at the time was phenomenal. I have been wishing this movie would some time come out on Blu-ray, and my wish finally came true. This movie looks better then it ever did on this format. The sweeping ballet of action, the picture is beautiful, and the sound is better then ever..

This movie is very good and Michelle Yeoh is fantastic in it. The fight scenes are well staged (if not believeable) and the scenery is gorgeous. However, the transfer to 4K left something to be desired, as a certain amount of "graininess" was seen, especially in facial skin.

This movie does not come with a digital code as advertised. I was told it had the code on the inside even when it didn't say so on the cover. I tried to return it for a copy with a code. They came cross like I was trying to steal from them
