    Tried this in 3 different PC's and a USB to m.2 PCIE enclosure. All three would give a hardware error message when trying to initialize the disk in Disk Manager. It does show up in Device Manager. I didn't bother opening this until 5 weeks after I bought it. So of course the return period has elapsed. I hope Crucial has a good warranty. But I'm sure I'll at least be stuck with shipping costs.

    I upgraded my standard hard drive on a 4yr old computer with this Crucial PCIe SSD. Very easy to install (aside from disassembling the computer itself), and noticeable speed in boot time and computer run performance. It was competitively priced for a solid upgrade, I was not looking for the top of the line. It would be nice if Crucial shipped this SSD with a installation screw and a thermal pad for additional heat dissipation, I picked up both separately prior to install.

    I have populated the Crucial P2 500GB SSD onto a $8 garden variety NVMe PCIe Adapter. The device is recognized by Window 10 immediately after initializing and formatting, as with a mechanical hard drive. The SSD works very fast when copying from and to a mechanical hard drive. When the copying is from and to itself, it is lightning fast. It is simply not measurable by observation. There are SSDs with specifications showing they are much faster, but then you will have to pay much more and worry about heat dissipation problems, all for a further increase of performance that you may not need.

    Good SSD replacement for Kioxia KBG40ZNS256G

    I needed to increase my storage in a newly purchased Dell Laptop which had Kioxia KBG40ZNS256G. This Crucial SSD replaced it successfully, i feel, i should have bought 1TB instead of 500GB. But it is working like a charm and no issues in replacement.

    Its no samsung 970 evo, but it is fast and cheap. Read and write speeds are great, havent noticed any issues with any of the several games I have stored on it. Solid choice for budget/midrange pc build.

    When you figure out how to open the back of your PC, it's a breeze to install. Their clone software is the best. Super easy, just follow the easy instructions. Love it. Sped up my PC dramatically.

    I got this to upgrade my mom's SSD in her Acer laptop. It was very easy to install. The SSD has also made made her laptop a lot faster.
