For those who consider buying it I want to tell you this thing is a trash, if you want to write anything larger than 5GB the writing speed is amazingly 50MB/s, even an SD Card is better than that. Avoid at all costs.

The Crucial P3 Plus 4TB Internal SSD has been a game-changer for my system. The installation was seamless, and the performance boost is noticeable right away. With read speeds up to 5000MB/s, my applications load almost instantly, and large file transfers are incredibly fast. The 4TB capacity provides ample space for all my data, and the backward compatibility with Gen3 systems is a nice touch. It’s also reliable, with a high endurance rating, ensuring longevity. Overall, this SSD is an excellent investment for anyone looking to upgrade their storage.

Must have if you play a lot of games. 4TB for $229 is a really good price. Perfect for my Ally X. Is fast and doesn't overheat. It's better than what i expected.

Built a brand new high end PC with all the best components. Yes it is a gaming PC but it is also the family computer. This hard drive offers exceptional speed, 4 TB size, and worked flawlessly on first installation. There are more expensive SSDs out there that give you nothing more. This one is instslled in my mobos ‘direct cpu’ connection spot at pcie 5.0. Wonderful choice for SSD. I think ill buy more as the mobo has 4 more SSD nvme slots.

I've long trusted Crucial for my SSD related needs, even before Western Digital or Samsung. Have a sata SSD by crucial still running strong in my Playstation 4 pro haha. Does what an SSD does. Fast speeds, so far reliable. 4TB desperately needed for all my AI spelunking! Does get hot~! Fortunately, my mobo has built in thermal pads and heatsinks for these. Bah wish my motherboard had a temp sensor for it, possible it does, there's a bunch of unlabeled temps, wanted to give screenshot, oh well.

Use the 4tb nvme drive to upgrade my PS5. It works great. Have lots of game space now. Crucial nvme drives are fast and reliable amd very well priced. Others manufactures I wont mention here are very over priced.

Bought this for my laptop and PS5. Laptop is Gen3 but that's fine - this is mostly maxing out what it is capable of in terms of speed and I will never need to carry around a portable drive again. Plays nicely in PS5 (add a low-profile heat spreader!) and I can install all my PS5 games on it with no issues. Loading speed doesn't feel any different than the included storage on PS5. This drive, on sale, is the absolute best value 4TB Gen4 NVME drive out there without question.

Great lower cost option for an M.2 SSD. Crucial is a stable and well made brand. 4 TB is a great amount for most modern builds in a pc. Plus this has more modern speeds compared to SATA, all you have to do is install it in the motherboard and not have to worry about a SATA cable and messy hard drive bay!

Great storage capacity. Keep an eye out for sales as the price on the 4TB has dipped to under 200. There are definitely more performance/gaming-oriented NVME drives available at BestBuy, but the price per GB at the time, and Crucial’s reputation of reliability made me choose this one for my non-gaming computer.

I upgraded my Asus G14 laptop with this. Super simple to install in the chassis and I did a clean Windows 11 Pro install, with zero issues. Now I have plenty of space for all my programs and games, and I will likely never need to upgrade the laptop for the rest of its life.

It's super fast, simple, and easy to install. I got it installed by the Geek Squad cause I had my wifi card in the M.2 slot, and all they did was unscrew my wifi card and put this in. It works so quick and has enough for me to run my servers without any worries

The Crucial P3 Plus 4TB SSD is a compelling option for users seeking ample storage and impressive performance without breaking the bank. This NVMe drive offers a fantastic balance of speed and capacity, making it a suitable choice for gamers, content creators, and everyday users alike. Performance While not reaching the absolute pinnacle of Gen4 SSD speeds, the P3 Plus delivers exceptional performance for its price point. Sequential read and write speeds are consistently impressive, resulting in snappy boot times, rapid application launches, and swift file transfers. The drive handles demanding tasks with aplomb, making it a reliable companion for multitasking and resource-intensive applications.
Love this crucial SSD! Have this setup in a raid system for my laptop 2x4Tb gives more memory then I need and increases data read speeds but maintains a cooler temperature. Temp control is hard enough in a laptop with max settings!

got this for my gen 3x4 m.2 rated dell desktop and it works fine ,, i clone this new one and just took an hour ,, much faster than cloning a gen 3.x4 s .. . prices have gone up instead of down ,, so it loses a star in value .. and not gone the other way

I've had this for a year now and have had zero issues with it. I used to have a HDD till it failed and I got sick of drives failing so I switched to SSD and this one has made stuff so easy and it's way faster than my old drives

The price of internal PC storage continues to fall, and that's a good thing for consumers. I bought this Crucial P3 Plus 4TB NVMe to install in my gaming laptop. Best Buy had it on sale for around $200, which felt like a steal compared to just 1-2 years ago. Crucial offers a free version of Acronis TrueImage that you can download from their web site. It only works if you have a Crucial drive installed or connected via external enclosure, which is what I used to clone my existing m.2 onto this new Crucial drive. It went flawlessly, and swapping them out was a breeze on my laptop. The speed and performance is great. I haven't done any benchmarks, but it performs comparably to the 2TB Sabrent that I replaced (both are PCIe Gen 4).

I used Acronis True Image to clone my old mechanical drive. My drive Read/Write speed went from 150 MB/s to 3,474 MB/s using this drive. Games open faster and don't crash on launch. In my upgrade, I used external device to attach this drive via USB. Once cloned, I installed it into the PC using a card that utilizes video card bus.

Works very well. I installed the operating system on it, so just so you know, if someone does the crystal disk mark or whatever it's called speed test on it, it will probably be a little slower because some of it is being used by the operating system if you installed the operating system on it. Anyway, it works well. Has been reliable. I've had it for about a year. I got the 4tb model. I want them to release an 8tb model and I want this 4tb model to be one sided in the future! By the way, i put this a heat sink from best buy. I think it was an insignia heat sink for like maybe around $15. Works well. Kept it cool.
