Great drive that works well for gaming. If you can get it for MSRP its worth it

Bought to future proof my pc; for a decent price this was an excellent upgrade.

I bought two in separate purchases for an ASUS G71. On the first purchase I discovered that the original card was in port 2 of the laptop. i cloned the original onto the new card and installed it in port 2. The laptop would only recognize the Crucial occasionally and then loos the recognition. The bios in the ASUS appears to be the problem. It would not recognize the 2 gig crucial in port 2 but it worked fine in port 1 so I installed it in port 1. I then ordered the second 2 gig crucial and the bios will not see it at all in port 2. It appears fine in the USB port with an adapter as a usb device. The problem is the ASUS bios, not the 2 gig crucial. I would return the chip and exchange it for a Gen 4 but I lost the box it came in. Gen 4 may or may not work. I’ll wait and see if ASUS fixes the bios.

Bought for adding storage space to my new ASUS laptop. I've used Micron Crucial drives for years and this SSD was straightforward to install.

Managed to get this product from the Black Friday sales and it works wonders from my gaming PC. Have not encountered any issues, however I do wish it was easier to open from the inside.
