The Crucial drive would stay connected to the laptop for less than a day. Then, even when programs were running that used it, it would disconnect. Device Manager would only show it under "Hidden Devices", Clicking there led to a message that the device was disconnected (error 45), when physically it was connected. Tried many, many troubleshooting options, different ports, renaming. Crucial tech support could not fix. Then when no choice but to return, the time elapsed had exceeded the deadline. Stuck with a lemon.
