Cruis'n is BACK! My friend and I were long standing fans of the series. Now he has 2 boys ages 5 & 7. We can ALL PLAY this game together! There is an option to turn on auto accelerate and yes, there is "rubber-band" gameplay, where the cars stay fairly close to each other no matter how well or bad you do. So the races stay close and exciting, making it fun for everyone. The unlockables are plentiful and the graphics are amazing. BUY IT, you wont be disappointed!

Now this is an absolute rage. I am not a huge gaming Dad but it is simple and my lil girl likes to holla and scream while she is jumping over canyons and falling through burning bridges. My enjoyment is in her thrill ride. My victory is usually her defeat but, the child must learning that she will not always win. Graphics are amazing on a large screen and only adds to the excite and noise she makes crashing and burning.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see this on the Switch. I think this is the first time Raw Thrills has ever let one of their arcade games get a home port, but I hope this is the beginning of a new trend. Cruis'n Blast is a shallow yet fun arcade racer with simple mechanics that won't stack up against Forza or Gran Turismo, so be aware of that. Drifting and nitro blasts are the order of the day here, and you won't get far against the CPU racers without mastering their use. Note that the AI employs rubber-banding in full force, which is definitely frustrating on the higher difficulties. With its added goodies and alternate takes on the main courses, Cruis'n Blast offers up enough to be worth a purchase. The wacky extra vehicles are a welcome treat (a UFO, a triceratops, a unicorn, and more can be unlocked). A must-buy for arcade fans!

Great game if you like arcade racing, good graphics, crazy tracks, lots of cars, I missed games like this one, the only thing better would be the old burnout series

Very fun but you can see all the game has to offer in about 1 hour. All the different vehicles are just skins. The unlockable helicopter and dinosaur control exactly the same as the 4-wheel vehicles. Still a good time. Races are very short. Most under a minute. No laps, just straight routes.

The game is fun but there isn't a lot of content once you unlock everything, which can be done in just a handful of hours. You can definitely tell this is a game inspired by an old franchise and they were leaning into the nostalgia instead of trying to bring it into the future. The interfaces and menus are all very retro, though not necessarily a bad thing. The tracks are absolutely insane though, just pummeling you with colors and lights and wild random things like giant yetis battling each other for some reason. I had fun just laughing at the pure absurdity.
Definitely fun for a few hours and if you have someone with you for multiplayer, it's probably more worth it. The "Cruis'n" song that plays over the main menu is just crazy though and will get stuck in your head, so look out for that.

Love the classic arcade racing from way back when, so this is refreshing amongst the car racing sims out there. Easy to pick up and play so the kiddos will love it as well!

Wasn't expecting to like this game this much, but have a nostalgic thing for the old games in the series, even if as soon as I start playing them, the rose colored glasses come off and their gameplay just isn't as impressive as I wanted to remember them being. Cruis'n Blast improves on this in every way, with shortcuts, driving dynamics, hidden unlockables, and lots more fun stuff. Simply put - this is the Cruis'n game I always with the N64 had! Kudos to the entire Raw Thrills team for this one!

By now I'm sure that by now you've heard about this game.
And if you been to Dave& Busters in Lynnhaven you might have even played it.
This is a wonderful port of the arcade the switch does a wonderful job keeping things as arcade perfect as possible there is some slowdown when a lot of things are going on the screen but otherwise its 60fps and looks wonderful!
This game kind of came out of nowhere, so if you like arcade racers then show your support and buy it because Raw Thrills makes other arcade style games like this, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of them on a home console
I gave it 4 starts because like mentioned before there are a few hiccups in the framerate and some take that seriously but honestly its not a problem. you will enjoy this game!

A solid arcade racing game that is absolutely bonkers! Tracks are fairly short, making it perfect for quick pick-up-and-play sessions between tasks and the tracks will transform as you progress. I'm talking earthquakes destroying the track, tornadoes, dinosaurs, missiles, etc. Burnout players will appreciate destroying competitors' cars with well-timed slams and employment of boosts. It's not a serious racer, but we have plenty of those. Cruis'n Blast is all about quick, adrenaline-fueled races with big explosions and sleek cars. Definitely will scratch that arcade itch!

Recaptures the feel and craziness of the original Cruis’n titles, and goes even crazier. Great fun as a single player game, but even more fun as a local couch multiplayer game. No online play, but that was not something I wanted, needed or expected. Great performance with a locked in 1080p and 60fps in docked. Same for in handheld (720p and 60fps) and looks wonderful on the screen.
Totally worth picking up if you love classic over the top, crazy arcade racers with imaginative tracks and lots of flash.
Hopefully this will do well and lead to a full remake of Cruis’n USA and Cruis’n World!
