It's nice to see how the series started I started watchin around season 4. A little background is nice when you plan on watching the whole series.

I was able to purchase seasons 2-7 at other times, but couldn't find season 1 anywhere. I decided to look on the Best Buy website and there it was! Thank you for carrying past and current crime show seasons, on DVD. Now I can binge watch the whole series, whenever I want. Lol

Excellent show for people that are into crime shows. With the many bouts of humor and history, non crime lovers can enjoy it as well.

This collection is one that fades in and out while watching it. I don't believe that it is my dvd player because not all discs perform this way for me.

Although still another version of CSI, CSI: NY is very unique and has many qualities that set it apart from the other well-known CSI and CSI: Miami shows. The first thing that I noticed was that CSI: NY looks much darker and has an NYC feel to it; scenes taking place in the bustling city instead of the desert in Nevada, traffic always backed up, horns honking, and the NYC accent in the characters speech. This season is more dramatic than CSI and CSI:Miami were in their first seasons. The first few episodes too seem less like crime-solving TV and more like a horror movie. Nevertheless, this is a great season and another must buy.

I bought this DVD a while back, and I recently finished watching it! This season was one of the best of all the 4 seasons on CBS. Of course, they are all great, but this season was a good start for all the loving CSI: - Miami - NY fans, because it starts off excellent! I love the CSIs and how they do their job the RIGHT way, even when something goes wrong, you know Mac, Stella, Danny, and Aiden will be there to fix things up. Recommendations in the season is "Recycling", "Officer Blue", "On the Job", and "What You See Is What You See". Enjoy the season, or buy it now if you haven't already!
