This Tracker works flawlessly, gives actual real time updates. I have had this tracker for a couple years and the battery life is still amazing. Didn’t use it for a whole 6-8 months and battery was still working. Even though the Subscription costs money it’s still worth it. I got the collar clips for my dog and this has saved me a few times.

Works great. Always on. Can see where it's been and how fast it's going. Great way to keep your vehicle or pet safe. I use it in my car. Also has a radius tracker. If you leave or enter certain areas, then you get an alert. Great if your vehicle or pet leaves the range you set.

    Durable and Discrete GPS Tracking

The CUBE GPS device is great for tracking the location and movement of anything it can be attached to or packed into. I personally have this for tracking the location of my car. The device itself is solid and has an oblong loop on each side of the device for attaching to keyring, animal collar, belt, zip tie, etc. After unboxing, the device needs to be plugged in and charged for two hours. A small red LED will blink while charging and turn solid when done. I downloaded the CUBE Tracker app onto my phone, set permissions for accessing the location and using Bluetooth. Then I set up the service license, which can be billed monthly or annually. Next I paired the device with my phone and showed the map with the device location. A Ring button on the bottom of the map will play a short set of electronic tones from the device itself, for locating the device. A handy feature if you attach it to your keys. An important aspect of the CUBE GPS is the use of alerts for Fence Locations, Proximity entering/leaving, and SOS alerts. These alerts can be shared with friends and family. Custom messages can be assigned to three different SOS messages. I configured my messages and sent out invites. My first test of the device was to put the CUBE GPS in my pocket and go for a one hour bike ride. I set the tracking interval to 10 minutes. After my ride, I checked the map and it perfectly recorded my location every 10 minutes during the ride. I can assume there are many situations where this device can become useful for personal assets tracking, animal locations, and personal safety. It can also be stored in packages for tracking delivery via vehicles and aircraft. My only ding is the CUBE App didn’t play nice with my iPad, but it worked perfectly on my iPhone. I highly recommend the CUBE GPS device for anyone needing these types of tracking. Device Features • Durable, high quality construction. • USB charging port. • LED charging indicator. • Built-in speaker for electronic tones. • Button for pairing device, power, panic alert. • Panic alert messages for 3 second hold, double click, and triple click. App Features • Map display in map mode or satellite mode. • Show current location or history of movement/locations. • Display battery level of the device. • Name the device. • Set working mode to Personal belongings, Pet, Car, Fly mode. • Enable/Disable Precise Positioning. (Best when outdoor.) • Reporting interval from every 1 minute to every 10 minutes. • Can alert on approach (enter Bluetooth range), on separation (leaves Bluetooth range), and on High Temperature (50 C). • Set custom messages for SOS alerts. • Device Sharing for inviting friends and family to install the GPS Tracker app and be able to receive alerts. • Safe Place setting (within default Wi-Fi location). • Setup of Fence locations. Notifies when device enters/leaves fence location. • Selection of 5 different ring tones.

I didn't honestly have a whole lot of hope when i purchased this device. It was bought out of desperation more than anything. For the most part, the reviews were mixed. After having used the Cube device for several months, i have to honestly say, it works and it works well. As far as i can tell, the accuracy is spot on, the battery (depending on settings) can easily last two weeks, and the lack of a contract subscription is very convenient. The virtual fence feature is a nice touch. Depending on the type of tracking you need to do, there are a few downsides... There doesn't appear to be a way to export your track data, a GPX dump (or CSV, KML, etc) would be a nice touch. Also, if you are used to some higher end gps devices (such as Garmin) you may find the app slightly lacking, and at times buggy. However, if all you need is a relatively simple "where is X right now," kind of thing, this device is very cost effective and accurate. I have already recommended it to several people and would buy another if the need arose.

Overall I’ll be honest, at sub $30 I didn’t have very high expectations. Multipurpose marketing also didn’t help me in arriving to that conclusion. I had that lingering thought of “what sets cube apart from XX brand or the many other ‘thing tracking’ devices flooding the market”. But I’m glad I was wrong. It’s closer to the area of the car dongles cell cariers sell you. During un-boxing, pulling it out of the box didn’t feel very special, its just a simple cardboard with a window film on the front. A foam with a cutout the size of the tracker, usb charger bundled next to it, 2 document sheets (warranty/manual) nestled at the bottom and a vinyl cube sticker. I’m completely at a loss for what to do with the sticker, why would I want to alert a would-be-thief to the device used or that it is being tracked. I’ll most likely end up slapping onto my desktop. Features This little thing is packed with some neat features, actually too many for my tastes. To be clear, nothing I’d refer to is a bad feature but more of a special use-case or targeted for a specific type of user. Th feature in question is referred to as “Virtual Fence” in the cube app. It creates a fence around an area of choice on a map that alerts the user on arrival/departure of the “thing” being tracked. That seems like it could be useful for someone with more than 1 tracker. Possibly to know when a family member arrives to their home safely. I tried it with my tracker and it did notify me that my car left the area but unless its been stolen, no other instance other than my leaving the property would trigger it. It just felt a little redundant. The rest of the features are without a doubt for everyone and anyone. They range from reporting frequency which results in battery consumption, alerts on disconnect/connect from phone/tracker, an SOS button function; where you define 1, 2, or 3 clicks of the button on the back of the tracker to send an automatic message to friends/family, and a Safe Place setting that uses the Wi-Fi networks your phone joins to determine if it goes into battery saving mode. The last thing to note, although this is less of a software feature and more of a hardware. Cons I can’t really list much here but there’s 2 things that bother me a bit with this. 1st, there seems to be a lack of information on the network the cube uses. If it’s a single cell carrier then this will likely have bad spots where it won’t report anything. But if it piggybacks on the big 3 carriers in the US, this could be a very viable option for large fleets over expensive systems that use satellite services. But neither of a quick browse of the product detail page nor digging a little deeper into the agreements could I find those details within a reasonable time span. It’s possible I may have overlooked the information but not knowing this at the time of writhing bothers me. 2nd,, based on my limited initial usage, you’ll likely have to update to a powered option. Either the OBD 2 power or hardwired kit. Somewhere in the documentation I read it can last roughly 1 year on a charge, but 4 days in with little usage and I’m at 96% battery left. It doesn’t take sophisticated math to realize its using 1% per day at the current rate which would mean it would deplete in 100 days, 1/3rd of a year. Its using 2 minute intervals and should be in battery saver mode when parked and I’m connected to Wi-Fi. I cold possibly extend that time frame a short amount more by changing it to 5 min intervals instead. Just seems a little less reliable. Unfortunately, my overall testing has been within the city. I’d certainly like to know how well this does if I take it into rural mountainous areas. This ties back into the first point as, as far as the documentation goes, it uses cellular signals to report it’s location and nothing I’ve seen makes me believe it can use Bluetooth from another nearby device other than your own to leverage a larger network, like some of the other devices that track “things”. Conclusion Despite my negative viewpoints with it I’m still optimistic about owning the cube and will sub to it when my trial ends. Within city testing, which is typically where my car stays, this works phenomenally. As long as you live in an area with good cell coverage or a fair population, you will be well off with the tracker as well.

Its a great little device at a very reasonable price. You do need to purchase the monthly subscription plan to utilize the GPS tracking features. The setup is super easy and straight forward. The tracking is pretty good, gives you accurate map points for where you have been. It does jump around a little bit in the city but you can tell where the tracker has been.

So far pretty happy with gps. It’s pretty accurate. Shows vehicle within a couple feet of location. Battery last a long time depending on how often you set location push. I have mine at every 5 mins. Lasts a couple weeks. The app is pretty easy to use and haven’t had any issues with it. Monthly subscription is a little high but device cost is fair.

Based on looks this GPS tracker is a very sleek durable and I really like the style. The loops on the end make it so that it can hook on bags or you can zip tie it to another object that you want to keep track of. It almost reminds you of a key fob to unlock and lock your car. Which is exactly what I plan to use it I have a 1966 mustang that I will put this in to make sure I can always know where my vehicle is. It has a real time GPS tracking. It says you can use it for pets but I think it’s a little too bulky and my dog wanna play with it. It’s waterproof so I don’t mind putting this tracker outside of my vehicle and if it gets wet it should be OK. It also has a rechargeable battery that last up to two weeks that is a little concerning and that I will have to charge it very often and if I forget I might not be able to track its location. It was very easy to pair my cube GPS and I had to activate a monthly subscription which I think is the biggest downfall of this design had it come with a free tracking app this would be five stars

Wow, the Cube is is a great value and accurate. The "live" tracking feature is amazing. If you need the cube for discreet use, make sure you test it before placing in a discreet location. It has ring tones for certain features that can be turned off to prevent a disruption in your discreet tracking. You will not be disappointed with this. The battery lasted for one month instead of two weeks on 5 minute intervals. The tracking did not fail that month. It did log me out once, and I need to just reset it, near the cube.

I use this in one of our vehicles, I would NOT put this particular device on my pet as the weight of it would be too much in my opinion. You do need to purchase a subscription, it's worth it if you are using it for safety reasons. Ours is to make sure our elderly parent remains safe and if she forgets her phone we know where she's at. You can set locations frequented to alert you when the vehicle has entered or left that location. The mini usb charging cord it comes with is basically the only cord that can be used with charging, It's failed to charge with spare cords. The battery life is about 2 - 2.5 weeks, sometimes longer, just depends on your settings. Occasionally it fails to update location, haven't figured out if it's weather (clarity) related or something else.
