I like this coffee maker. It's easy to use and it looks nice. The only thing that I don't like is the water reservoir. It's hard to pour water into it because the space is so cramped and limited. Other than that, it's a good product for the money.

Very happy to have my 2nd Cusinart coffee maker! Had same model in black for over 5 years. It made great cooffee, 1-2 pots every day,kept it hot, and never a problem. Then 1 morning, it quit, retired like I did. To save money, I bought a much cheaper coffee maker, we both disliked it; tried another brand, same dislikes. Was very happy to buy this white Cusinart coffee maker at Best Buy, and it was on sale! My husband and I and both happy with this one! Just wish I hadn't wasted money on 2 inferior brand units

Would HIGHLY recommend, out shines others I had!!!

We purchased the Cuisinart - 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker - Black & Stainless for about $60, expensive for us. Lots of grounds if using the mesh filter, so recommend using disposable paper filters. when properly snapped on, the lid makes the pot spill-proof. (But the finger hole for popping off the lid for cleaning and filling is really small for most fingers.) The water fill opening into the reservoir is very small and in the very back of the unit. The reservoir lid is hinged so that the lid stands straight up right next to where the water is poured. The room is very restricted and it is nearly impossible to fill the reservoir without spilling. The pot and handle feel very comfortable and sturdy in your hand, and fits snugly and safely onto the warming plate. Coffee maker is pretty quiet and coffee is produced at average speed. Digital clock display is very small and not back-lit, and except for using the timer features, is basically not very usable as a clock.

This is my second Cuisinart 12- cup programmable. The first one stopped working from old age. I bought the exact same model because the quality of machine and brewing makes this an excellent choice for everyday use. I use paper filters due to ease of use and clean the machine and water filter at recommended intervals- when cleaning light comes on. The Cuisinart is a good value and looks nice on the counter.

This cuisinart product is made well... it does come with a gold tone filter... I prefer using paper filters... don't like small pieces of grounds in the bottom of the pot. The amount of ground coffee I use doesn't produce a full bodied cup of coffee compared to my old basket filter coffeemaker vs. this cone basket for some reason. I've tried more ground coffee but still not like basket filtered machine :-(.

Very pleased with new Cuisinart coffeemaker. The old one just stopped working after daily use for 7 yrs. Has all the bells & whistles the old one had except not stainless steel which I didn't really need. Filling with water is not as easy because this lid doesn't go back far enough but the coffee and features are great!

Cuisinart makes Coffee pots built to last as this one is replacing the one I have owned for almoast 10 years before it broke down. Main complaint about this model is if pouring water directly from a filtered water pitcher hard to pour and read water level at the same time.

Makes good coffee fairly quickly. Seems sturdy & well made, and no problems so far. What we like: -- Uses cone filters -- Small footprint on countertop -- Flip top to access filter and water storage (although if you have low cabinets, this might be an issue for you, but we like it) Minor nuisances: -- The "beep" to signal it's finished brewing (and that it's shutting off after about 2 hours). Others have commented that it's a bit loud, which it is, but it isn't a deal breaker for us. -- Automatic shut-off after about 2 hours. There's no way to stop the auto shut-off, so if you're like me and you drink your coffee throughout the morning, you'll find you need to heat up your cup of joe in the microwave after a couple of hours. Again, a nuisance, but not a deal breaker.

Most important thing: Coffee tastes great. Never ever happened with my Mr. Coffee! Two things (minor) - the lid on the coffee pot doesn't flip open, and is a bit of a pain to take off, and pouring water into the well with the pot is awkward... you'll always get water into the coffee area, so pour the water first, then add coffee.

Bought this as a replacement for the exact same one that I have had for years. The original was great (until it was knocked off the counter) and this one is too. Easy to program. Makes consistently good coffee.

Woke up one morning and my coffee maker had died ugh!! Went to the store and purchased this coffee maker. I love it! Easy to use and coffee is great.

Replaced the identical one because it was reliable. I like the 1-4 cup for myself and my hubby liked the larger capacity. Black was easy to keep clean and matched my other small appliances. I like the small size because of counter space was limited. I wish the clock lit up. I had trouble setting the original time. I will get to that later. The coffee pot is very thin and breaks easily if not careful, Replacement (generic) was bought at Walmart for a reasonable price.

We bought this based on other reviews and the fact that our old coffee maker was a Cuisinart. Also we do not want those expensive pod coffee makers. We have a grinder and a separate expresso machine. Our new Cuisinart works great and we love the buzzer feature that lets you know when it is ready to turn off - it's a last call for coffee!! The glass coffee pot is nicer than the old metal one as you see how much is left and it keeps the coffee hotter longer.

Great coffee brewing. Easy cleaning and space saver. Just would like ability to silence brew finish beeper.

Not sure how I feel about this coffee machine. My wife and I wanted a larger one than the one we had before. The basket where to put the filters is oddly shaped and sometimes coffee is so watered down, it becomes undrinkable. Also, the loud beeping irritates us.

I liked the looks of it, first of all. Putting in the coffee and adding the water is easy. The coffee comes out good and the filter basket comes out easy. A breeze to clean. The display, black on gray, is to small and very hard to see. This is a good value for the money

We wanted "white" to match our kitchen which is very hard to find, so it looks great. We bought this to replace our 8 year old cuisinart thermal carafe model that finally gave out from daily use. We like the glass carafe better because it is easier to clean, measure the water, and stays hotter on the plate. Works great! A reliable product overall.

Attractive, makes hot full-flavored coffee and has a no-spill carafe. I use my pull-out faucet to fill the reservoir. So fast and easy! I really like the four short beeps when the coffee is ready. By the way, use your thumb nail to pry under the carafe cover just above the handle to easily lift off the cover.

For the price, this machine is worth it. Most importantly it makes good coffee quickly and with little hassle. The biggest drawback for me is where the water receptor is located, which is at the back corner of the machine. At times, this can cause water to accidentally be spilled into the filter or elsewhere, if you are not careful when filling it. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
