Pretty good toaster and I like that you can see the time countdown from whatever setting you have. It works well for the most part but for some reason it takes 2 times to push it down before it stays down. About par for the price point.

I have a 10 year old Kitchen Aid toaster with LED screen, but the lever keeps breaking, so needed to replace it with a new toaster. This model was one of the few with an LED screen to show the timer. But no matter what type of bread I use, a setting of 2/3/4/, it always has one side of toast more done/brown than the opposite side (for both slices). Only way to get an even brown on both sides is to select a swtting of 2, then flip the bread and run it again. Should not have to do this on a $70 toaster. Also, the lever that you press down feels flimsy and won't last long. I'm returning it.

Pretty sophisticated toaster with pre set functions that toast just the right amount. Looks nice on the kitchen counter too.

Very good toaster. It toasts evenly; quicker than others I have had; The selection choice of type bread, muffin etc is great and accurate. I love the timer. It is in our pantry off the kitchen so we know just how long before walking back to get the toast. Only improvement would be to have an inch longer slot for artisan breads

Cuisinart covers it all--from toasting bread, English muffins, bagels with any thickness to your specific toasting level. While appearance may not look toasted evenly to the naked eye, the bread comes out perfect!

Nice unit, was going to send back because the slot depth would not be sufficient for larger bread slices . I have not tried bagels yet. I have kept it since toasting is good, not perfect, and the unit looks nice enough to leave out in kitchen,
