Traditional cold brew takes 20-24 hours and makes a "concentrate". You then can add cold water, hot water, cold milk, or steamed milk to make any drink of your choice. It's basically less acidic concentrated coffee you can use like espresso shots. My traditional cold brewer makes enough concentrate for about 20-24 drinks depending on size and how strong you want it. No electricity required and no noise either. This machine only makes cold brew coffee. You can't make an iced latte and you have to microwave it to get hot coffee (less acidic than regular brewed coffee). If you ONLY want cold brew coffee this machine works OK. The flavor still doesn't totally match other methods.
