THE VERY BEST COFFEEMAKER EVER MADE!!

This is THE BEST coffee maker ever made. It has grind and brew as well as drip coffee. We actually use both every morning, set it and forget it until the next day. This coffee maker lasts us about 3-4 years. We always watch for sales to make sure we have one extra in storage. There are 2 "cons", first, make sure the paper filter is in place or the water will get behind it and collapse. the 2nd con is when the bean basket ispulled out to clean, if the maker is still on, it shuts off making a constant small beep. So I have to wait until the maker shuts off, then I can go back in and clean it, which I do every day.

This is my third Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffeemaker. The first two I had each lasted over 10 years. I love the coffeemaker and use it every day. Just pour in the water and add the coffee beans. Then set it and forget it until morning, when you hear it turn on. Delicious coffee every moring.

Bought this based on the positive reviews but may end up returning due to the noise the coffee grinder makes. It's incredibly loud and will definately wake up a household that's sleeping in. The coffee taste good, I wasn't blown away. Thought it would taste better. One pro is the temp of the coffee, nice and hot.

My husband purchased this Automatic Grind and Brew Coffeemaker to make his coffee in the morning. He really likes all of the features. The biggest problem with this coffeemaker is the Automatic Grind feature. It is really loud! Very disconcerting when one is trying to prepare breakfast in the morning.

Overall makes a good cup of coffee . The carafe will leak around the spout if you pour aggressively like I do . I have to pour very slowy to avoid this . The basket will leak during brew phase if you have too much coffe in it . Annoying that you have to turn the grinder off ( it defaults to being on and is super loud if you just want to use pre ground coffee) dumb - you shouldn’t have to turn it off.

This grind and brew coffee maker does a really good job! It grinds and brews a great pot of coffee. Freshly ground beans make the best coffee. I have it set-up to automatically make a fresh pot every morning and it never disappoints. You do have to clean the grinding parts after each use, just like the filter basket and the carafe, but that only takes about a minute with dish soap and water, so not a problem!

This is a fantastic coffee maker and very fast and quiet. The only downside is the built in grinder. If you intend to utilize the grinder you have to clean and wipe down the grinder every time to prevent any buildup as the steam from the brewing coffee will cause everything to cake up.

Coffee tastes great, stays nice and hot. Less mess than using a separate grinder. Two shortcomings of the grinder: 1) One pot at a time, no large hopper for beans. 2) The grinder stays totally open and collects tons of steam, creating sludge from the leftover grounds that must be cleaned out every use. Because of low price, still 5 stars.

Way to go Bust Buy! You exceeded my expectations by having the best coffee maker design in stock at a price to match Amazon. I value your support in our local community and the ability for me to see products in person. Way to go Cuisinart! What a cool product replacing our old DGB-650. I was able to keep using my old 12 cup carafe (from DGB-650) in this new DGB-400 unit. Note the grinder, and coffee filter holder are different designs but good job keeping what works.

It works beautifully and efficiently for both whole beans and ground. It's fast and the instruction book is quite thorough but easily read and followed. I'm enjoying it immensely!

It does make a very good cup of coffee. Grinder is loud and has a tendency to move other items on the counter top. Pouring water into the machine is easy. Lid to the carafe doesn't easily pop back into place easily and does not pivot up or down. Coffee bean grinder is okay but has no adjustments. Clean up of this machine takes much more time than a machine without a grinder as steam gets into the grinder and produces a gummy cleanup of the grinder. Due to lengthy of cleanup I will use my own separate grinder. After two uses, I don't love the machine and will order the original I had.

Heats up fast and stays hot for a long time. A little messy since you need to rinse and dry everything including the grinder even if you don't use it each time. Wish the water could go in the side rather than the top cause it needs to be pulled out to fill as it doesn't fit under the top cupboards.

Replaced Cuisinart drip coffee maker for pre-ground coffee only. We prefer using beans that we grind ourselves for more and fresher flavor, so we were grinding small quantities of beans. When this coffee maker went on sale, the price was so good that it was a no-brainer. Now, we simply add coffee beans to the built-in grinder, press a button and the coffee maker does the rest. This Cuisinart coffee maker is easy to use and easy to clean, producing drip-style coffee that is very similar to what we were making manually.

After 6 months of normal use, 1 pot per day. This coffee maker misses the pot galf the the time. There's a mess on my counter 3-4 mornings a week. I've tried less coffee, more coffee, less water, more water nothing helps. The grinder does a good job, but it is difficult to clean. The pot dribbles when you pour. My counter top is more caffeinated than I am by 0700. DO NOT buy! I will be purchasing a new one soon.

I'm a lover of Cuisinart and the same goes for my third Auto grind coffeemaker but with one caveat - The quality of product, more specifically, the parts has gotten cheaper. While I do really enjoy this product, after the second usage two springs popped off the cup holder that catches the grinds. Fortunately, it hasn't affected the grind and brew. All in all, this is a good product for the price just be mindful of taking extra care of the removable/washable parts; they can break easily.
