The knives are very nicely weighted, very sharp and the weight is evenly distributed. The block however, is extremely horizontal and not as pictured and takes up a lot of space on our counter. The name plate was detached in the box upon receipt. One of the slots had a 'brad' shot through the slot which interfered with the placement of the knife. We had to shimmy the metal out of the way of the blade with force in order to not damage the knife blade. This occurred on the right end of the block. The price was too good to return the knives.

I loved this set when I saw it online and I anxiously waited for it since it wasn't in stock. Much to my GREAT disappointment, the wooden block doesn't look anything like the one online and I dislike it so much that it's going back. I didn't even bother to open the knives. Why would the stock picture be a totally different? I've included the block I received and pictures from the box.

Thatmt is good value and reasonable. All knifes is light and sharp that is easy to use that. That is amazing and useful.

The knives seem to be of excellent quality, but only time will tell. The block we received is a different configuration and made from a different kind of wood. The finish is also a bit rough but I do some woodworking and can clean that up with a bit of sanding and a nice oil finish.

The knives pictured have a lighter block than the ones I received and I was thrilled! I bought these as a deal of the day, seeing them as a gift for a family member who had asked for a knife set that wasn’t too expensive. The price was so low at the time I treated myself, not knowing the quality would be so good! The chef’s knife alone was worth the purchase price and there is a carver, a bread knife, a pairing knife, a small serrated knife, shears, six steak knives and a sharpening stick... Wow! I’ve liked the quality, style and functional ability of Cuisinart products ( I recently bought a Griddler that I love), and I am thoroughly pleased with this knife block. I will be glad to try other appliances if they are all this quality and affordability!

Has scratches on the case and looks used, but the knives are sharp and nice . Was too lazy to go through the call and return process. It’s been a while I own it, I’m happy with it

Love these so much. I usually love this brand but not necessarily love the triple rivet look but these look nice. All are very sharp & worthy. I remember seeing where you aren’t supposed to put knives in the dishwasher so I’ve been refraining from doing that. Usually I wouldn’t comment on the wood block but this one is distinct & nice looking & you can be proud to leave it on your counter.

Great craftsmanship and quality steel. They are sharp and get the job done! We are babying these and not subjecting them to dishwasher although they are perfectly fine to do so. Still we know they’ll last a long time. Only negative thing I could say is the six serrated dinner knives could be sharper or maybe the serrations are too deep as they just don’t slice seamlessly/efficiently.

This knife set is one of the best purchases I made in a while. I can cut through the toughest things. I had a Cuisinart set before but it didn't have a much sharpness as this set. Definitely a good buy.
