I looked at about three different "Pot" coffee makers. I drink a lot of coffee, a lot... I was looking for something where you can make up to twelve cups, fast, but still taste great. There were a few negative reviews but I think most of those might have faulty products. This is near perfect. My wife is the "Tea-person", it's great having the extra hot water dispenser, it takes about a minute or less for 190 degree water. The only issue so far is how small the space is to pour the water in for the coffee, other than that so far four stars.

This is the first time buying a Cuisinart product for my house. I was very happy to find it was well packaged and everything worked right out of the box. The coffee maker is so easy to use, I didn't even read the instructions. I am in love with the hot water feature, it is great for hot cocoa and ramen noodle cups. The coffee maker is quick and does not let grounds get mixed in. The built in filters give a great consistent flavor with every pot. I highly recommend this coffee pot.

I love this thing, it's simple and functional! I enjoy having the dual hot water dispenser, it's much more convenient if you have hot drinks other than coffee.

Coffe maker works great for our normal use. I have not used the progrmmable as I get up early and make the coffe as my first item of business. Temperature setting on all three settings work fine. Hot water function is a nice conveniance although a microwave is just as good as we normally do not keep the hot water function on for any extended time.

I love this coffee maker! I wanted to purchase not just a coffee maker, but one that also featured a separate area for heating water. I love the fact that I can easily heat water for hot tea, cocoa, or for when I need hot water as I am cooking. The coffee maker itself is great as I can make 12 cups of coffee and you can select the level of heat that you would like the carafe to be heated to. I love also being able to set a timer and have my coffee maker begin brewing coffee before I wake up. The signal for the coffee maker is not overpowering like some coffee makers. Both the coffee maker and the water heating area use the charcoal filters, so you can be assured you are having filtered water for your beverages. Cuisinart stands behind their products, so be sure to register this product when you get it. I would highly recommend this product.

We were looking for something that gave us both coffee and tea. With limited space we got both in one unit. It is perfect.

This brewer makes a great cup o' Joe and looks like it belongs on our countertop. I especially like the blue on/off light for both the coffee and hot water function. The hot water function has become a favorite in our home for tea and hot chocolate. I'm slightly disappointed with the dripping basket which leaks slightly when you pour a cup of coffee while it's still brewing. Other than that, this is a great brewer!

This coffeemaker is perfect for our kitchen. We love the sleek look and design. It delivers great coffee and is easy to use. We also love the hot water dispenser which is great for making hot chocolate or hot tea quickly as well as the need to dispense hot water on a moments notice. Great item for the price!

Not only can I have my coffee or tea anytime, I can also program my coffee to brew at the time of my choosing. Very practical.

The machine makes a very good cup of coffee, and that's what is most important. It is a very nice looking machine, and makes me feel like my kitchen just got an instant make-over! It has a lot of nice features, like programmable start time, signals when coffee is finished, keeps coffee hot for up to 3 or 4 hours, and the reusable filter so you don't have to buy paper filters any more. A few things I would have tweaked if I designed it: 1. It's a little awkward to pour the water into the machine, so it can't be tucked too far back on your countertop or too close to the wall. 2. The separate hot water feature is nice, but you can only get about 1 cup of hot water at a time, and then you have to wait a bit for it to heat up more water. I was hoping for a constant flow of piping hot water, but that's not the case! Aside from this, I'm really happy with the machine and would highly recommend it!

Drip coffee makers never got coffee hot enough for my husband. He loves the temperature adjustment for the plate - hot for a full pot - then medium and low as the pot is emptied. I like that because I hate the burned coffee taste at the end of the pot. The single cup water heater is a bonus for tea, cocoa or oatmeal. The gold coffee filter included saves money and waste. This was a great buy!

Great coffee maker. Keeps it super hot. Love it. The auto features make it even easier to enjoy a great hot coffee.

I was so excited to buy this coffee maker as my husband likes his coffee, and I like my tea. It was rather easy to use and the hot water section was very convenient for me. Why am I only giving it a 1 star you ask? Because after having it ONLY 4 MONTHS, it will no longer heat the water and says it is out of water even when it is full. I contacted Cuisinart customer service and went through all possible problem solving to no avail. Now I'm going to have to pay shipping not just for a "new" (refurb) unit, but also shipping on the broken unit to return to Cuisinart. They can't even estimate the costs for all this shipping! And because I didn't pay Best Buy extra for their warranty (not knowing this product wouldn't even last 6 months), I can't exchange it there. THIS PRODUCT ONLY LASTED 4 MONTHS BEFORE BREAKING! Buyer beware and DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

Conveniently brews coffee and makes hot water for tea. Works good and its very nice quality

This is by far the best coffee maker I've ever had. It brews a great cup of coffee and it keeps it the right temperature. I love the hot water dispenser because we also have a lot of tea drinkers and grandchildren who love a good hot cup of cocoa! I have already recommended it to a friend who went and bought one.

My roommate drinks a lot of coffee So he had a coffee maker. I drank tea, so I had an electric kettle. Both took up counter space. This replaces both of them in a smaller footprint. Also, they have separate reservoirs, and can operate independently, and at the same time. So if someone is making a pot of coffee, you can simultaneously make hot water for tea.

I really like this coffee maker.Ran a couple of pots of water though both tanks before using and have had no plastic taste as others have said they tasted.When pouring a cup while it is still brewing it stops the output real well so it doesn't drip a bit on the burner as you're pouring.Coffee is a nice hot temperature,not Luke warm as most others.The hot water side also works well.I only wish would be that the display was backlit so it would be easier to see when programming.

Excellent product, makes the best coffee for real coffee lovers! I have owned 2 previous models of Cuisinart for over 10 years & have recommended to friend/family. Two years ago I switched to a Keurig...after many, many times of dealing with clogs on two different models...yes, I use bottled water...I am back to my Cuisinart and enjoying every morning hassle free with a delicious cup of coffee with quick/easy refills or any other hot beverage !

It was time to replace my old "grind 'n' brew" coffeemaker (a different brand, and still works great) but I was looking for something a little less bulky on my countertop. After lots of comparison, I settled on this model and it was the right decision. It brews delicious coffee, quickly. Just a couple of hints: When filling the water reservoirs, opt for a long-snouted watering can. Otherwise, it's difficult to get the water directly into the right compartment, and can get quite messy. I've used an insulated thermal carafe for years, but this glass one keeps the coffee wonderfully hot for 4 hours after brewing, then shuts off automatically. (Just put the temp hold setting on high; medium doesn't keep it warm enough.) The automatic hot water feature is wonderful for hot chocolate, tea, etc. VERY happy with this purchase! Like all of my Cuisinart appliances, I expect this one to last a long time.

While the coffee maker portion is great, and makes a fantastic cup (and the temperature control is wonderful), the hot water dispenser is less than to be desired; it continuously leaves this hot plastic taste in the water after several rinses. I upgraded to this coffee maker, after 3 good years from my previous one, in order to save space on my kitchen countertop and remove my electric kettle, but because it leaves that plastic taste I have brought back the water kettle for my cups of tea. A little disappointing, I would recommend just sticking to the regular coffee maker model and leave this one on the shelf.
