There isn't a lot to say about this food processor and you know why? Because it just WORKS. It does its job the way you'd hope a food processor would do it; chops, slices and shreds as it should, it's easy to assemble and easy to clean, it's large enough but not too large, it's not super-cheap and it's not expensive! We're very happy with this machine.

My wife used this the day she received this for our Christmas dinner. She raved about how well it worked and how much time she saved by having this product. I did look at other models that were more expensive and less expensive, but felt I got a good product for a fair price also carries a familiar name. The only issue she has ran into is chopping celery due to the fibers, everything else she worked with has chopped has well

I was replacing my original Cuisinart after the assembly decided it would no longer lock correctly and work. This unit is smaller but I am no longer cooking for a larger group so this unit is the right size and therefore stores away more easily. The downside is that the accessories I had for the old unit no longer fit (Someone got a deal at the Thrift Store). The blade is sharp, the buttons are well spaced out and it has now handled a variety of materials without a hitch. I did have to prepare some diced vegetables in batches for a soup but I can not complain. Here is hoping that this unit has the longevity of my original unit (Oh, the lid engages with greater ease much to my delight).

My girlfriend is hard on stuff. I mean REAL hard on stuff. How she broke the switch on an internal part of her previous food processor I'll never know. This is the first full size one she's owned and she put it to immediate use (I confess I get a great benefit out of it also). Smooth, sharp, efficient as I would expect out of a Cuisinart. Go with the best, skip the rest. There was one with a larger capacity which may be valuable for larger families, but it's just the two of us.

Great food processor for the money. Have tried other brands including the Oster blender/food processor combo and it was a piece of junk. Returned it because it didn’t work the first time I tried to use it. I had the cuisinart previously for 20 years and had to replace it because the top piece on the shredding blade broke off so could only use it for chopping and slicing. The motor still worked fine. Probably could have just replaced the blade but I figured it was time. You won’t be disappointed. Simple to use and simple to clean and makes shredding and chopping a breeze.

I was looking for a food processor and this came to my attention. I ordered through best buy online and i received the item on third day. Its easy to assemble. Have little bit weight to keep this steady. Functions smooth. I used this for beans/onion/spinach and similar veggies chopping. Carrot grinding. Its easy to wash. Really recomended

Every company has a niche market and product that is superior to professionals and home consumer. The cusinart food processor 8 cup is that product. The ease of use and diversity with the attachments make it a valuable and essential item for my kitchen and is and incredible value.

The Cuisinart food processor is very easy to use. I love the chopping aspect of it. We also use it to mix our dogs home made treats and it makes is so easy.

This unit comes with two reversible discs (fine and medium) to slice/shred, depending on which side is up and one set of blades for chopping/pureeing/kneading. This powerful Cuisinart helps in shortening food prep time. The unit is lighter than expected, which helps if you have to move it. Keep in mind that because it is light, it should be watched on heavier duty chopping/pureeing/kneading, as the vibration can cause the unit to dance around the counter some.

i bought this around january of 2016 and so far its been working good. we primarily use it for kneading dough to make chappathi/roti (indian dish), although it doesnt have a plastic dough blade, it still does the job with the standard blade, i am happy with the product.

This Cuisinart is pleasantly quieter than our old model, and the hardware is a bit easier to clean, with the drive rod moved to the platform.

It’s great product. Me and my wife like it. Easy to operate and clean. Does so many things quickly and effectively.

This food processor works terrific! Easy clean up and dishwasher safe! Able to make larger quantities.

I love anything Cuisinart and this 8 cup food processor lived up to my high expectations. Easy to use and clean and the 8 cup size makes it not hard to store. Great for chopping and slicing and I just made a delicious gazpacho soup with it. Highly recommend.

Solid construction and good power. This is a nice entry level food processor that can tackle any number of tasks. I have used it for dough, chopping beef for burgers, chopping ice and blending hummus.

It does the job. Bought the product for my wife after the one she used for years broke. She tells me that it works really well. It was more expensive than she thought it was worth but it does work well. It provides the various tools offering ability to chop, grate, etc. the food into whatever you need it.
