It worked great for about three weeks. After that the sensor that says the lid is closed messed up and you have to sit something on top or wedge it under the counter. It still makes a good cup of coffee, but it's not worth the price.

The only criticism I have of this product is that you have to turn off the grind every time you make coffee where you are not grinding beans. Seems backwards to me. If I wanted the grinder, I could turn it on. Nice coffeemaker & I would buy it again.

You need to put in every time, the right amount of beans, rather than a preset grinder for daily use (my old one was preset and utilized what it determined needed for light, medium or dark brewing.) But it tastes fine. Lots to clean each time.

As the summary states, it's probably a good enough coffee maker for most people, depending upon what features you want... I returned it after a couple of uses because I found that the coffee was not strong enough for my taste, in combination with not being able to do much about it. There is no strength selector on this model, which might brew slower for a darker brew, or a grind time selector, to make the grinded beans finer, so I found those options in another model. I also decided that I'd like to get one with the hopper, so that the beans don't need to be loaded each time. Note that I also tried increasing the amount of beans that I put into the grinder, but there is a limited capacity, and it still was not enough when maxed out.

Cleanest Grind and Brew I ever used. FYI: the Carafe top must be on the Carafe as you brew!

Bought this to replace the exact same model that I had wore out. My wife and I both work from home, separate offices, and drink two pots a day. The carafe keeps the coffee hot.

Disappointed that the plate did not heat to keep pot/coffee hot.

Still going strong, brewing strong and no replacement parts thus far.

Love the Thermos concept too, it is a power saver too Cuisinart always does a great job brewing coffee!

I have had two (2) prior Cuisinart - Grind & Brew 10-Cup Automatic Coffeemakers. They both lasted about seven years total after one was replaced by warranty. This item has improved by beefing up some of the parts with newly designed shaped parts. Also the new insulated thermal carafe does not require a burner as did the older models. The coffeemaker can then turn off when the last drop is processed and no worry about over cooking or leaving home before turning off the burner. The carafe by design pours slowly as it is baffled to keep in heat longer. You can simply remove top and pour faster if desired. Also it is a good idea to fill the craft with hot tap water to preheat the thermos. True there is a number of parts to rinse and clean between pots but the resulting quality of the finished product outweigh the time spent. This product is the best of its kind for the price that I have found.

I would highly suggest this coffee maker for both the brand name for reliability and that you can either use whole beans for freshly ground taste or use pre-ground coffee if you don't have whole beans on hand. Either way it makes a whole pot of coffee within a couple minutes and has easy clean-up. I even program it to be ready when I get out of bed in the morning. So worth it.

This is our third Cuisinart Coffee Maker. Great product for the price. Only reason I rated it a 4 was that I believe there are better products out there at a much higher price.

I use this product for my customers when we have conferences. It works better than any any coffee machine I have used in the past!

Appliance works well and is easy to setup and clean.

Love the fact that there is freshly grinded beans brewing in the morning while I get ready for work! Just wish it had a keep warm option..

Really nice coffee maker, the fresh grind option is perfect for coffee lovers, only holds 10cups though so you will find yourself making two pots

Good machine. Don't enjoy the clean up and we don't use the grind as much as we thought but it keeps coffee warm for a good 3 to 4 hours and makes great coffee!

Pros: make great coffee, i don't use the metal filter included but paper filter so the taste won't be alter. Cons: 10-cup is a little too little
