This is a reasonably priced grind and brew that makes good coffee, but in a high-humidity climate, the ground beans get wet and sticky and make a mess. It is also super loud! When I was grinding beans and set it up to start automatically in the morning, it woke up the whole house sounding like a jet taking off. For these reasons, I never use whole beans anymore.Thankfully, there is a bypass feature that allows you to use ground coffee. Next time I would either buy a cheaper, regular drip coffee maker or a more expensive grind and brew.

I love that the coffee pot automatically grinds the beans, brews excellent coffee, One drawback is that moisture gets in the grinder chamber causing me to have to clean it every time.

We love our new coffee pot. Grinder works great, easy to clean and excellent rain shower head makes perfect coffee. Plate super heats and keeps coffe hot. Only minus, you have to let the grinder run the full cycle. My old one allowed me to switch to brew mode after the sound of the beans were compete.

My wife and I received our first one as a wedding gift 13 years ago. It is still working perfectly. I recently purchased this one for my office. Easy to use, easy cleanup, built in grinder is perfect. Coffee stays hot for hours. Very strongly recommended

Quite, efficient, durable, overall good for the price

I wanted a coffee maker that gave me the option of using whole beans or pre-ground coffee. I also wanted a timer option because I get up very early and need my coffee ready to go. This maker hit the bulls eye. My only negative comment is that if you choose the option of pre-ground beans, you still have to clean the grinder portion due to condensation and residual coffee being shot up in that area.

This is the third Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffeemaker we have owned. The average lifespan has been about ten years. Each model has been an improvement over the last. To make coffee, fill the carafe with water and pour into the water chamber. Fill the grinding cup with coffee beans and install the top of the grind cup. Close the lid and touch the "on button" and get ready for that first wonderful cup of coffee. To clean it, put all removable parts into the dishwasher and wipe the inside of the coffeemaker with a damp cloth. If cleanliness is not your bag, buy the black machine and you can not see the coffee stains.

I liked my old one better. I could put enough beans for the week in it. With this one I can only put enough beans in for one pot at a time. It works fine except for that.

It's always nice to have some fresh ground coffee! This bad boy works great!

We originally recieved this pot as a wedding present 4 years ago and two years later it stopped brewing. My husband was crushed and loved that pot. We got him another for Father's Day and they improved the filtering process and it works even better!!! Still noisy as heck but very good for the price.

Works great. Keeps my coffee hot for a long time. My coffee tastes great..better than with any coffee maker I've had in a long time.

We owned one of these in stainless steel for maybe 15 years and it has been great. But have 15 years, it started giving us problems so we ordered a replacement with a glass carafe. It works great and I think the coffee stays hotter in the glass carafe. Hopefully this one will also last 15 years.

Overall, this is a great product. The integrated grinder that kicks on at the beginning of the programmed time is reason enough to buy this. I detracted one star only because the machine has a lot of individual parts to clean after a cycle. Normally, I wouldn't clean the parts every time, but steam from the heated water backs up into the grinding compartment, and that feels like mold potential.

Found error in instructions and could not get it programmed to grind and brew at a set time. Disappointing. We have given up trying to figure it out for now. We just brew the coffee at the time we want it. Also, a measured cup does not match the carafe's cup. We expected the coffee to have a great flavor and it is average.

I had one of these in the past and liked it so much I immediately purchased another one.
