Messy coffee maker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this coffee maker as I loved my precious Quisinart coffee pot. This newer model grinds and brews one cup at a time. A plus - each cup of coffee is freshly ground and brewed. But - I've found that the grinding is inconsistent. Sometimes there are up to 10 beans left whole, sometimes they're all ground. The filter is small and I can only brew 3 cups prior to changing filters. It's quite messy also. I have to rinse it out often which causes a guilt factor as we're experiencing a drought here in CA. Taking the pieces that require a rinse with each use is messy as well - it drips as I move the pieces from the pot to the sink. I would recommend that if your kitchen allows - keep the pot as close to the sink as possible. Otherwise you're dripping and staining your countertop along the way. Like I said - I had high hopes. I wish I would have paid less attention to the brand name and read some reviews prior to purchasing this item.

Excellent coffee

I used to go to Starbucks everyday and then I realized that I was spending over $700/year on cups of coffee. I decided enough was enough and looked for options. I found this coffee maker that makes great tasting coffee and I am glad I purchased it. If you read other reviews about cleaning 6 parts ...yes that's true but I can clean it myself in less time than it takes to stand in line to place my order at my local coffee house. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Cuisinart single cup coffee maker

She likes it very much and said that is brews good coffee. Also that because is is small and compact it takes up less much needed space on her counter.
