Hurricane is an apt name. It ferociously attacks whatever is added. And that includes ice. My advice would be to not go by the recommended blending times. My smoothie of bananas, yogurt, frozen berries and almonds took less than 10 seconds but the blender had it timed for 30 seconds. It's moderately light and sturdy. A good vlaue.

Easy to clean, makes great smoothies and efficient. Very noisy, make sure you always keep the lid on with the top close because if not ingredients will splatter as soon as you turn it on.

I bought this mainly to make smoothies, Frappuccino’s and for future use making home-made baby food for my newborn. I am in love! I never have issues with it, it’s easy to clean, the product is simple and easy to use and it comes with a warranty. The barrel of the blender is big enough for 4-5 drinks, comes in handy at parties.

This blender exceeds my expectations. I was in between this and vitamix. I believe that this blender is as powerful as vitamix. Some users complain that it is loud. This is a blender. It is expected to make some noise. It can blend anything just fine.

It's a blender. But on some jacked up steroids. Works like a beast. And simple functions makes it that much easier

The blender is built to last. The thing I like the most is that it remains stationary when it is blending so I can leave without the worry of it vibrating off the table. When it starts, it remains in the same position. The interface is easy to read and simple and the 60oz container can make several smoothies for the entire family at one time. The added cost is worth it because of the power of the motor, sturdy construction, and reputation of the cusinart line.

We have started having smoothies for lunch and the previous Cuisinart just didn't have enough power. It would overheat before the smoothies was adequately blended. This one has the necessary power.

Hurricane blender fit my needs and the price was right especially when I used a rewards certificate. There are other more powerful blender in the market, but for your everyday needs, this does the job and then some. If you want to spend over $400, then go ahead, but for under $200, this Hurricane is nice

This thing has almost as much horsepower as the first cars. It'll blend just about anything.

I bought for holidays. Perfect for frozen drinks. Exactly what I was looking for in a blender. Doesn't take up too much space on the counter.

Frozen mojitos... need I say more? It's a good heavy duty blender... I'd recommend this blender for all of your boat drink and smoothie needs!

This blender is very sturdy, and well built. I like the gun metal finish to it and there is nothing this motor has not been able to handle so far

This blender meets my expectations of it is price range. You can spend another couple hundred bucks and get that famous brand but this blender does the job in my opinion. It is not quiet but it is not loud either. It is a blender, it will make some noise! Base is very durable as well as the container. I am hoping that it will last me years.

This is a great blender. He has a lot of power, I was able to use it to purée vegetables. Also it isn't too loud.

Purchased this to replace an Oster Versa that broke down well before it should have. The design is slick and, in spite of the lower power vs the Oster, it whips out smoothies faster and better. Happy with this blender.

I was initially shocked this blender did not have a removable bottom. I actually like this one-piece base feature better than past blenders with so many parts to clean! The blender does not handle solid chunks of frozen fruit. I end up microwaving the frozen fruit for 20 seconds prior to making smoothies. All in all, it does the main job of a blender- it blends...

My daughter uses to make healthier drinks. She seems to love it.
