Not if you toast bagels!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This toaster looks good and does toast sort of OK. Two negatives - one annoying - the timer knob is too loose - knock the toaster and the timer changes! i.e. you HAVE to adjust the timer every time you toast. Second, and why I am RETURNING it - It does NOT COOK BAGELS correctly - pressing the "bagel" button still has both elements (both sides) on FULL and INCREASES THE COOKING TIME on BOTH SIDES!! That means burnt on both sides if you like toast medium or medium well and don't turn the timer down. If you turn the timer down, you simply get under-done since you can't toast one side only etc.. The "BAGEL" setting should TURN DOWN one side (top/bottom) so they only toast slowly. as they are usually shiny or seeded and burn horribly in this toaster if you want the faces of the bagel toasted/brown.
