    Read many reviews from different retail stores. Chose the Cuisinart 4 slice toaster based on reviews, appearance, price and brand. I am 100% happy with it. Toasts perfectly, Toasts quickly. Defrosts. Does what it is supposed to do. Looks nice and does not take up a lot of space. Best Buy even matched a lower price I found.

    I had $20 In rewards to use. I wanted a 4 slot toaster this time. This one looked good and was reasonably priced. I bought it and it seems to do fine. Toasting is a little uneven, but I do have a little more control over the darkening. I forgot at the time that I might also like a longer slice slot. I’ll just continue to nip off the end of whatever I’m toasting, to get it to fit.
