Every time i put something in the toaster it sends a horrible surge and trips the circuit...my last toaster never did this...awful!!!!

Very slow toasting, it took several times of using it to get the toast to look like toast. Only about 50% satisfied with the product.

I have used the bagel feature a few times and it toasts the bottom half about twice as much as the top half.

We purchased the Metal Classic CPT-180 4-slice toaster recently. It's absolutely awesome to use. We are enjoying this item immensely. We keep the dial on it between "3" & "4" & that's all we need to do with it as the toast and/orbagels are done to perfection. There's no issues or complaints whatsoever in that department with it. This product looks great on the counter too. It's as neat as a pin in the corner & also, just so you know this; it does NOT get the fingerprints all over it unlike other metal products that seem to have issues with that stuff, believe me it's fine. I would not get any other type BUT a Cuisinart from now on after this purchase. That shows you how pleased we are with this particular product as I very rarely write up reviews. I wanted to make sure you guys knew that this toaster is definitely a good one to buy, no doubt about it. We are extremely happy we went with this one, so don't hesitate, just get it, it's a done deal in my book.

I bought this as some of the reviews said how good it was, but the item that I had didn't work properly so returned it and bought elseware

Burnt out the first time we tried using it. Very unhappy

the toaster take time for toast, and always the bread is light, need more time for have more brown the bread

I expected much better quality for my money. This is the last Cuisinart appliance I will ever buy.

Nice looking but takes two passes to brown English muffins.

the slots need to be wider . slices of bread have to be forced down to the bottom. needs about 1/2 more inch of slot width

It’s a 4 slice toaster with no bell or whistles. It works well.

The product was what I expected. It is a decent toaster. The salesperson was nice.

What can I say. It toasts. The setting knobs are too loose.

Poor quality and workmanship. Didn't work properly.

While both sides set the same one side pops well before other side. Not evenly toasts.

You need to flip the toast upside down half way through the toasting

I eat alot of toast so I have gone through many of the $15 toasters. I wanted to buy a better quality toaster with features not found on the inexpensive toasters. I wanted wide openings, even toasting, a nice appearance and overall quality. I even got bonuses like the one sided toasting and the push button pop-up. i have used Cuisinart products in the past and have had good luck with their performance and quality so I decided to bite the bullet and put out the bucks for this toaster. I have used it now for about 5 or 6 months and I have not been disappointed. It is really high-tech and I am very pleased. I would highly recommend this toaster.
