As far as toasters go, this is pretty good. Maybe a bit pricey for a toaster. We moved up to a 4-slice, and it's nice as my wife likes her toast really dark and I'm always forgetting to change the setting first thing in the morning when making the kids' breakfast. So now we each have our own side :-) And the 4-slice isn't that much bigger than a 2-slice, The "defrost" setting is perfect for frozen breakfast items like Toaster Strudels. Toast comes out nice and even too. Does OK on bagels, though I'm not sure what the bagel setting does, as it still seems to toast both sides. The finish does pick up fingerprints and smudges, if that's important to you.

I really like to have warm toast in the mornings with my coffee and with this Cuisinart toaster, I am able to brown my toast perfectly. I love that it has large slots so that accommodate Texas Toast and there is plenty of room for bagels. The stainless steel design is sleek and modern and looks great in my kitchen with my other appliances.

Looks very nice and works great! Was happy of the quality and so easy to use, and doesn't burn the toast. Great price for this type of toaster to make more than 2 pieces at a time.

I am so pleased with all of the Cuisinart kitchen products I have purchased over the years, and this toaster is no exception. It heats bread slices, bagels and frozen waffles so evenly and there is the one slice option as well. It is solid and I like the vintage look. It is definitely worth spending more to have something that will stand up to frequent use. Most things these days don't seem built to last, but this toaster is a keeper!

I love this toaster, it makes it so easy to have Eggs Benedict . Buns are toasted perfect on each side.

Lasts forever. Or at least the last 7 years and still going strong. Used daily with 6 person home.

We were in need of a new toaster. Our previous one lasted eighteen months. We had a toaster oven which we used for a few weeks without satisfaction. After looking at several toasters and thinking they were all the same, we bought this toaster. We were impressed right away. The style fits our renovated kitchen and it is so much faster and more accurate than we thought possible. GREAT PURCHASE/PRODUCT.

I was initially skeptical about spending $65 for a toaster, but my husband and I were tired of trying to share our old two-slicer and it was time to upgrade. We have now had this for a couple years and I can say it works well and is still performing. I like the defrost option, and the ability to accommodate bagels, buns etc. We also wanted separate controls for each side which this has, since I like darker toast than he does. The only negative comment I have is that I would agree with a previous reviewer that the outer and inner sides don't toast completely evenly. I have solved this by undertoasting a bit and then flipping over and toasting a bit longer. I do watch it though, which not everone is going to want to do. It's also nice that it has a reheat option, if you jump the gun while you're cooking your eggs. Overall great value for the price, and impressed that it still works well after two years of regular use.

This is easily the best toaster I've ever owned, I can tell this is going to be a toaster I'm going to have for a long time because it's manufactured so well. My toast and bagels always come out perfect.

This is a great toaster. Easy to use with great options. Everything I have used it for has come out great. Highly recommend.

Did not work , plus controls were hard to read. Other reviews stated that it didn’t work I just thought ok they must be defective, it hardly toasted it’s a piece of junk

Since it has four slice capacity, you don't need to wait a lot to toast. Just put the bread in, set the level and start. I strongly recommend.

I've bought this toaster during my last trip to USA. I allways been skeptical with refurbished products but this purchase is changing my mind. The toaster has been well packaged and the delivery has occured into the time limit. Despite of a tag indicating the product was refurbished and because of this had only 90 day limit guarantee, all other aspects was like brand new. It worths paying half of the regular price!

Toasting have never been made easy. Very clean and simple to use.
