I ordered this Cutlery set after looking at the pictures on the website. The knives in reality doesn't look as sharp as they do in the picture. The finish on all knives was dull and scratchy. Some of the wooden handles had minor cracks. I ended up returning the item and ended up buying another Cuisinart Cutlery set.
BestBuy made it very easy to return the item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

With a single quality knife costing $75 or more this set is an excellent value. They are well made and have a good heft to them. They came very sharp right out of the box. The low profile block doesn't obstruct the outlets on my counters.
I would recommend this to a friend
