This coffeemaker is DA BOMB! I am a diehard morning coffee drinker,so my coffeemaker better be good! This coffeemaker has gone beyond my expectations! First of all-its really attractive on the counter(I chose black).It has a charcoal filter (replaceable) which just enhances the brewing (I live in a very hard water area-anything to clarify the water is a blessing!) It beeps when its done! BEEEEP!! My coffee is ready!.It also has a timer so that you can already have it waiting when you wake up. The best part is the steel carafe which keeps my coffee hot for hours without cooking it .I can't say enough about this coffee maker- its the best one I have ever owned and when the time comes for another-I will buy this one again!

Originally purchased a new product that lasted approximately 2 years. Made great coffee, but must keep up with maintenance in hard water areas. Bought this refurbished one to save money (>50%) and it arrived looking and working like a brand new product..

Great looking coffee maker and brews effciently. However, advertised as a 10 cup pot, but really makes only about 5 or 6 cups. Also, the coffee does not stay hot for very long.

Bought a Factory-refurbished black Cuisinart 10-Cup coffeemaker with stainless-steel thermal carafe. Operates as described in manual. Use the 1-4 cup setting more often - nice feature. Easy to clean. Carafe keeps coffee warm enough for a couple of hours after brewing to suit me.

Note: I did not actually USE the coffee maker, so I cannot speak for it's usefulness or quality. I just want to express the error in product dimensions listed on the website. I have been looking for a coffee maker that will fit on our counter under the cabinets for quite a while. The space between our cabinet and counter is only about a foot, so I needed a very specific sized coffee maker. The product description listed for this device states it's around 8" in height.... it's NOT! I had this coffee maker shipped to me and upon it's arrival I realized it was too big and had to return it to the store.

The price on the refurbished unit made me not think twice about ordering it. The insulated carafe works very well. The lid is designed so that it keeps the coffee hot, but still allows pouring without the need to open the lid by pushing a button. Generally, I preheat the carafe with hot water just before I brewing. However, this is not really necessary. Coffee stays hot for at least an hour or so. I haven't tried longer times. I have only had this for a few weeks, so I can't attest to durability, but past experience with cuisinart has been good.

It took me a little while to get used to this pot... but I really like it.. my husband... loves it.. only one problem.. where the pot sits down on.. I lifted the pot up one morning.. and.. the black ring that is the size of the pot ... lifted up.. so.. it has a crack in it.. enough.. where I hope that eventually the whole thing doesn't break off.. I did press it back down in place.. but.. at times you can still see it pulling up.

This is a great coffeemaker - quick, quiet, and carafe keeps coffee hot for hours. A very good bargain for the price. Several beeps when coffee is done is a nice touch. Would highly recommend.

First Thermal pot that does not leak when you pour

the coffee maker is fine it was a refurb the only problem it took forever to got it . its a ok buy the new ones should have only coast this much.

This is a great coffee maker at a great price. It is smaller than it's 12 cup big brother. I haven't compared to see how long it keeps coffee hot and fresh compared to the http://www.cuisinart.com/products/coffee_bar/dtc-975bkn.html which keep coffee hot for 6 hrs + but it seems to do fairly well. being smaller and more compact it also fits well under the counter.

I received my coffee maker yesterday and unpacked and ran the 1 pot of water through as directed. After the first pot of water went thru I lost all digital dispaly and could not get the coffee pot to work. I loved the looks and the thermal pot, however I was unable to make any coffee therefore I was very disappointed.

This was a great purchase. I am convinced that factory refurbished is the way to go. Insulated caraf keeps the coffee hot for a long time.

I ordered this thinking the thermal carafe would keep my coffee hot for longer than 15 minutes. Very disappointed that it doesnt keep coffee hot for at least 2 hours!

Purchased coffee pot as holiday gift. It leaked badly and I had to purchase a replacement -- very embarassing for a gift!
