Very fast, light blender

Leaks.....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We started out with a "bullet" style blender, which we thought would be great bc you make your smoothie in the same container that you drink from. Def not good for more than one person- even if you have more than one cup. What a pain- we didn't like it & it broke soon after we bought it, so we replaced it with this. And now... I just bought a more powerful Ninja blender to replace this one. It was disappointing to discover that Cuisinart didn't make a better product. #1. It's not as powerful as I'd hoped it would be & #2. As hard as I try to tighten the bottom piece w/ the blades- it leaks from the pitcher down into the base, so it's prob only a matter of time before it stops working. #3. Even though I can't get the bottom attachment tight enough to prevent it from leaking- I cannot get the bottom off to wash it without putting the pitcher back on the base & twisting it enough to loosen it. It's a pain & a mess.

Worst Blender

So, I ordered this blender. It is plastic with a smaller blade. Not the same power. And now it has stopped after a couple of months. It needs to be repaired.

Nice blender for regular use

Does everything from dry chopping to smoothies and mocktails. even crushes ice like a butter. Only discomfort I had was washing this huge jar even for blending or chopping something small or little in quantity. Wished they had a smaller jar included with this. Overall satisfied with the product.
