This is not what the money. It only takes like 1 minute to brew the coffee and it makes great flavored coffee taste awful. I got this in place of the keurig but took it back and got the keurig and so glad I did.

review created after 30 days and 100 cups of coffee. This is a great device always ready when I need it. external strainer is very convenient. I bought a large container of coffee filled the strainer and made a cup. Coffee was weak and nasty. I opened a used K-cup and found the the coffee to be finer than what I was using. Placed the new container of coffee beans into a blender. Made the coffee much finner (almost powder) . Success, the brewed coffee is full flavored and I make two 8 oz cups per strainer. Full flavor and bold not washed out. 1st time use setup, programming is a breeze and quickly done. excellent size water tank. the blue light inside the water tank is a nice touch.

I've had this coffeemaker for 15 years and it still works great. It is easy to set the clock and program on and off times. I randomly clean it once or twice a year with vinegar. I have no complaints.

The Best Keurig Brewer Out There!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This is the best Keurig brewer on the market, in my opinion. It is fast, easy to use, and the water reservoir is large enough so you're not constantly filling it with water. I have had mine for over a year and a half with no problems, although people online are complaining about the life of the pump that moves water from the reservoir to the brewer. I would definitely suggest getting the Geek Squad protection plan with this, just in case.

I've had this baby for several months, and it is the best part of waking up every single day!!! If you're looking for a good single brew system, this is the cream of the crop... it has the BEST functions, and MORE functions than any other one on the market - believe me, I did my research! It has a self-cleaning system, which is important for these machines. It is soooooo easy, a monkey can do it. And so fast, you're out the door before you can finish yawning. Look no more, this is THE ONE!!!

I've had this for 2 months now and have been using it just about everyday. Overall I have no complaints like some others have had. Allot of people have complained about the pump going out. I don't know if I've been lucky or I have a machine where they have a upgraded pump installed. It has been making great cups of coffee with the correct amount of liquid that was selected. Overall besides it being a little pricey I think it's an excellent product. I like the ability to use the rinse function and also to have hot water available when you want to make something quick.

OK first things first. I spent a LOT of time talking to friends and reading reviews about Keurig, Cuisinart and Tassimo machines. It was a love or hate thing with almost all. We have a Cuisinart Grind and Brew, but wanted something smaller since we were wasting coffee. I finally settled on the SS 700 based on reviews. Next...I admit to being somewhat frugal on some things. Why pay full price when I can get a factory reconditioned unit with a warranty for a lot less? So we got a recon'd unit from Best Buy. It showed up with some problems right out of the box. Best Buy was GREAT...I returned it...on Cyber Monday...to a local store. In and out, no hassle in 5 minutes. Re-ordered one from the BB website (hey, they didn't mess up, it was a recon issue). The next unit showed up in 3 days. After two months; I can say we are more than pleased. The unit function has been flawless. It has not had any problems unless we overfill the tank in which case we wipe off the counter. No hiccups, no issues. One thing we do is to run a rinse to flush the line every day or so, simply because we make coffee, tea and occasionally hot chocolate for the grandkids. Other than a wipedown, that's been it. While the unit comes with a pod for using your own coffee (easy and cheaper than K cups) we bought two Eko Brew pods and use them instead. They drop in like a Kcup, so you don't have to pull out the receptacle and insert the factory one. Well worth the investment and now I can have my Cafe Bustello or Community coffee anytime. Bottom line. Great unit. Great service from Best Buy. Even better if you save the money and buy a reconditioned one if they have them available.

This was a replacement for a Keurig machine that started to die. It offers a lot more features, has a larger water resorvior and is a lot quieter (big plus). The auto on/off is a good feature.

Have been using a Keurig B60. This is a much sturdier machine. Extremely quiet and the 80 oz water reservoir is a plus. Also like the five cup size options and the rinse button.

    Nice design, poor quality

I have had two of these. The first, I bought for myself. My main reason for choosing this one over the Keurig brand models was the Cuisinart name and the 3 yr warranty. Sadly, it never made a full cup of coffee - to get an 8 oz cup, you would have to set it for 10-12 oz cup. I kept it clean, descaled, etc. (note: descale indicator NEVER came on). I am also the only coffee drinker in the house, and I am light coffee drinker - I will drink on average 3-5 cups per week (not per day - per week). It would every so often have a problem with not brewing coffee. I would have to turn it off, wait a little while, then turn it back on. It would generally start working again. After about 1.5 yrs, it had gotten progressively worse, was making very loud noises when I tried to brew, and would not brew. I called customer service, and it took forever to try to get connected to someone. I was on hold for a very long time. Then, when I got a rep, she continually interrupted me before I could even tell her how it was acting - she cut in and asked, "when is the last time you de-scaled - have you de-scaled in the last month?" I told her it had been more than a month since the last de-scale but that I hadn't made more than maybe 15 cups of coffee in the last 30 days and that the descale indicator had also not come on in conjunction with the problem. I then tried to tell her again how it was behaving, and she interrupted me again, saying, "you have to keep it de-scaled and properly maintained - warranty doesn't cover improper maintenance." And I told her I did keep it cleaned and descaled with vinegar and that I thought something else was wrong, and she interrupted me again with the same thing. #note that the owners manual says descale every 3-6 mos, and that sensors will also indicate if descaling is necessary#. She refused to listen to me; we went 'round a couple more times the same way - me trying to explain, her not listening and interrupting me - until I finally hung up. It was a little before Christmas, and a family member got me a replacement coffee maker - sadly the same Cuisinart model. I was optimistic that perhaps I had gotten a lemon the first time, but the second one only made it ~3mos before it stopped working altogether. I did not ask my family for the receipt to call for warranty service after my prior experience. I replaced it with another brand. I will never buy another Cuisinart product again - I don't have issue with a product malfunctioning; I have issue with a company not honoring their warranty when one does malfunction. A 3 year warranty that won't be honored is worse than no warranty at all.

Blows my old Keurig out of the water

Our Keurig Platinum finally croaked. We were going to upgrade to the new Vue system, but didn't want to invest to heavily in the the new K-Cups since we had regular stock already built up. We decided to give this a Cuisinart a shot. I didn't think anything could beat my old Keurig Platinum. It looks nice. I can barely hear the water moving in the machine. It's faster and holds more water. I am very satisfied with this machine.

    Not working 6 months Later..

I get this loud humming sound every time I try to brew. Not sure if that means the pump has gone or what. The frustrating part is that Keurig's reviews are fairly similar. They don't seem to last long. Of course everyone has a different experience but I had high hopes for this one! For all of you complaining about Cuisinart's poor customer service/manufacturer's warranty - You did buy this product from Best Buy WHO OFFERS THEIR OWN REPLACEMENT PLAN. I think I paid roughly $40 for a 4 year replacement on it, and instead of hassling with Cuisinart and shelling out $65 for them, I will simply take it in to my local Best Buy and they will swap out the defective machine for a new one. I think this proves that maybe people shouldn't be so turned off by protection plans offered at retailers, because as you can see you can pay more dealing with the manufacturer under their warranty. And now, the only question is will I replace this machine with another Cuisinart, or a Keurig?

    Best K Cup Brewer

I have had a Keurig brewer for 3yrs starting with the B-60,B-40 at work,B-70 platinum, which was my first brewer with quiet brew technology best improvement. The early brewers were loud the new ones are silent. Ok on with the Cuisinart. 80oz resovoir, 3yr waranty instead of 1yr. Comes with my kcup and storage compartment on side. Best looking brewer along with the Breville. Seperate button for water only and rinse feature. This is a great price for a great brewer. I didn't get mine at Best Buy because I got one when they first came out and you could only get it at one place. Enough already buy one. I put about 12 cups a day through these brewers 7 days a week.

Fast and easy perfect cup of coffee. Each cup of coffee is a special treat. I keep several different varieties of coffee on hand so whatever mood I am in I have right k-cup to fill the need. The machine is always standing by ready for the slightest thought of coffee. It is so user friendly. Large water reservoir and flashes if low. Filters are easily changed and water tastes great. Rinses at the push a button. Brews 4 different cup sizes and they are easily selected. Also provides plain hot water at 192 degrees for soup etc. I have had no trouble it and totally enjoy it's daily use!

    Best Brewer!

I got hooked on Keurig coffee when a friend offered me a cup several years ago. I got the top of the line Keurig brewer and had it several years before it started short cycling, etc. I replace it with the Cuisineart brewer about a year ago. This unit is terrific. Always a perfect cup, very quiet and much better looking. The extra price is worth the money. Also, I love the little baskets you can buy. I now grind my own coffee from the beans and use them in the Cuisinart. Saves a ton of money too.

    Good purchase

I purchased the Cuisinart single serve coffee maker as a gift and also received one myself. I have had it about 1 month and I really enjoy it. I probably drink 2-3 cups of coffee and at least one cup of tea a day. I also have a Tassimo single serve coffee maker. I find that the Tassimo t-discs in general serve for a stronger cup of coffee versus most brands of the k-cups and I also like the Tassimo for it's ability to make cappuccinos and lattes. I like the Cuisinart for it's multifunctionally of brewing hot water with the touch of a button, the fact it came with and has a storage compartment for "my k-cup" so I can brew from my own coffee grounds of choice with ease and that I can explore the variety of k-cups offered which is vast compared to the variety of t-discs available. I researched and have used the Keurig brand brewers and I think the Cuisinart is far superior both in performance, functionality and aesthetics. The person I purchased this for also applauses it and has found no faults with it.

Got this for my dorm room. I (and my friends) use it probably 3-4 a day on average and it works great! Easy to use, stays clean, and brews a fast cup of coffee. My only complaints are occasionally I'll find coffee grounds inside the "head" unit which is a little bit of a pain to clean out. I also with the water reservoir was a bit larger. Other than that, it's great. Pricey, yes, but I feel well worth it for the convenience.
