Good machine

We had serious problems with Keurig branded machines not priming, so replaced the last one with this machine, which we also use in an office environment with fairly high traffic. So far so good, no problems with priming or maintenance in either location.

We purchased this when our old Keurig SE stopped working after 3 years. We purchase another SE but it stopped working after a week. This Cuisinart has proved to be a great purchase and brewer. We have had it 5 months now and no problems at all.

I purchased this the week before Christmas and it has worked like a charm. I have made alot of coffee with it and no problems. I like the hot water feature for morning oatmeal and tea bags. It does come with a scoop and a my kcup. Glad I made the purchase.

I had the Tassimo before I bought this. I like both but the Cuisinart Single-Serve Coffeemaker is my favorite. They have many more choices for coffe brands and flavors. Also more stores carry coffee for this machine and it is cheaper that the Tassimo cups.

Works as advertized. Use repeatedly throughout the day for both coffee and hot water. Water could be a tad hotter, but only qualification to an excellent product.

This was a great coffee maker while it lasted, but for the price you would expect that to be longer than a year!
This machine had problems at about the 6 months mark and finally stopped working completely in about a year. For the price, this thing should last beyond the 3 year limited warranty.
The pump mechanism is what has issues. At about 6 months, it started having problems pumping the hot water through k-cups. Some descaling and instructions from the manual helped, but it was never the same as it took several minutes to dribble out a cup of coffee. A few months later and it pulls in water, heats it, but just makes a moaning noise and only a few drops of hot water come out.
We're going to try the Keurig Platinum next in hopes it is better made. Really liked this Cuisinart though and wish it were simply more durable!

Bought the K-brand and it was defective. Returned for the cuis and have been happy ever since. Less noise. More sophisticated. Most importantly did not leak all over the counter like the Kur.

This is a piece of junk. We got one as a gift at Christmas. The water will not pump through the machine. Nothing can be brewed. After several tries the display showed the "de-scale" warning. It should not need to be de-scaled it is brand new. I ran the de-scale process it made no difference. It did not work so we sent it in. Cuisinart sent another. It will not work either. it exhibits the same problems. DO NOT buy this, I expected much better from Cusinart!

Very easy to use, also like the hot water feature. Only drawback so far is that it's a little pricey.

I bought this thinking that it would solve all of our coffee issues. I was wrong. My husband and I drink a lot of coffee and we are always refilling the water reserve. The pump went 93 days after we bought it. We also noticed that when you use the KCUP to use our on coffee it leaves lots of unused coffee in the KCUP. I called the company it cost me $10 to mail me a new one. Not so bad until I realized I had to pay for shipping back. $65 later I wasnt happy. I called the company and they were not nice or helpful. Now the pump is starting to go on the new one. Its brewing very slow. I spent $200 and junk. FYI keep your old machine this one isnt worth all the money.

VERY Unreliable Pump

I have owned one two of these. One lasted about a year before it stopped pumping water. Fortunately, Cuisinart sent a replacement at no charge. That replacement has been working ever since--probably a year now. We'll see how long it takes before this one breaks...if it does. This is a common, known problem with these.
I purchased a second one for my business refurbished from another reseller. It arrived not pumping water right out of the box. Of course, I had to pay return shipping.
Wouldn't recommend this product, even still owning and using one unless you want to risk it not working in the future. If you do, I'd get a warranty. I LOVE how it makes coffee...WHEN IT WORKS!! I expect more from Cuisinart! They usually have a higher standard than they do for this product as far as quality control goes.

This high maintenance and space consuming device lasted about three weeks. It basically failed to run unless always filled to the brim with water an even then the odds of a decent brew were less than winning the lottery. In fairness it was a referbished unit, but even so it should have run. Unfortunately it could be easily returned for service which required mail order shipment.

I got this on a Monday, used it Tuesday through Sunday, one time each morning. On Monday morning, the water wouldn't pump out through the machine. It worked Monday night when I got home from work when I was fiddling with it, then it didn't work Wednesday morning. I returned this product. Very disappointing.

We purchased the Cuisinart single serve based on our prior history w/ Chisinart products. We paid the extra price but were disappointed w/ how poorly the unit worked. If the unit runs out of water and you fill it up sometimes it won't start working without resetting the unit. When we reset the unit sometimes it would take three resets to get it to work. The last time we couldn't get it to reset, the unit only produces two to four ounces of coffee and then quitting. We are getting ready to send it back to cuisinart, since the company we purchased it from only take products back within fourteen days of purchase.

The hype at the store I viewed this product was that it you could use your travel mug up to a 14oz one.
Well, guess what? We tried every mug they had, and not one would fit under the spout.
They couldn't believe it, and neither could I.
