I needed a blender and a food processor. As I live alone, I didn't need a huge capacity device. I also didn't want to take up unnecessary space on the counter. The Cuisinart Velocity Trio fit all of my requirements. Small foot print, reasonable capacity, and multifunction all-in-one blender/food processor. This is a very capable unit. It is a very smart buy in my book.

I have used Blenders sparingly in my life so when I went to purchase one I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this one. The good: The food processing part works great. I used it to make salsa and it turned out great. Clean up is easy. Smoothies are actual smoothies. While people complain about the containers being plastic I find them easier to manage and lighter. The plastic seems to be of high quality although if you drop stuff I would expect they wouldn't last long. It absolutely shreds ice and anything I put into it. The base is wide, and I have yet to notice any sway or movement while in use. The use of it is straightforward with easy to understand instructions. Cons: It is loud...and I mean obnoxiously loud. However I have not heard many that are not loud. I am willing to deal with the noise because of the productivity and price of the unit. Food processing blade is ultra sharp. I don't think this is a con but they do not supply a sleep for storage of the blade. With minimal effort it will slice skin. I ended up taking a piece of cardboard and making a sleeve for it.

This Cuisinart Velocity Ultra Trio 56-Oz. Blender/Food Processor Silver is an excellent all around system. The motor is very powerful and the functionality of this product is outstanding. All of the versatility in one product. I bought this blender/processor for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. The preset function buttons for smoothie and ice crush work beautifully and they make it very user friendly. Being able to choose low and high speeds is a real advantage as well. I love the 16 oz. smoothie tumblers. They are very efficient and it is easy to make smaller portions without a mess. The purchase of this unit replaced our other blender and another food chopper that simply did not perform as well as this product. Best Buy had this unit on sale for about $40 cheaper than anyone else and it was a great purchase.

I went in looking for an inexpensive blender/food processor combo and was disappointed that what I'm looking for is pricier than I wanted to spend. I decided that this model was close to what I want, and the least expensive. So, I bought it on that criteria alone. I have never regretted it. This is a sturdy machine, it's easy to clean and it suits my needs perfectly. I make a smoothie every morning, and the two smoothie cups it comes with are just right. It can handle crushing ice with no problem. And, the food processor works well, too. My only complaint is that the processor bowl is a little small. All in all, though, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This blender is high powered and does the job in seconds. I especially like the shaker cups for my protein shakes on the go in the mornings. Attachments are easily changeable and makes this machine a very versatile and necessary appliance in my kitchen. Very pleased!

This is a fantastic buy. I needed a food processor, but got a blender and smoothie machine thrown in too. I've only used the smoothie attachment so far, but I love that the cups actually fit in cupholders, unlike my Ninja.

I love this blender. It blends my morning shakes perfectly. I even put frozen fruit, ice, and a small amount of juice in the travel mug. it not only blended it without have to add more liquid, I could turn it upside down!

I was a Vitamix enthusiast until I had to leave mine behind. I purchased the Cuisinart based on the reviews and it's comparable to the Vitamix. The food processor and blender cups are a nice added bonus you don't get with other pricey blenders. It's perfect for quick, healthy meals and green smoothies.

Our old blender died so we went looking for a new one. My wife wanted one that was also able to be a food processor. This blender is powerful enough to serve as both.

I purchased the food processor as a Christmas present for my wife. She loves the versatility of the machine and having all the attachments is a big plus. My only complaint would be that one of the bowls is smaller than I expected.

So the base doesn't seem to want to lock in with all the different pieces that come with the blender, and the individual cups seems to leak during blending....not the happiest. Food processor tools work like a dream though so I can make do.

For some reason the gun metal color was $50 less than the other colors. works like a champ, just made some garlic hummus, and using it to mix cocktails soon. we bought this particular model because it came with a blender and a food processor attachments.

Nice, compact appliance. food processor is a bit smaller than anticipated, but shredded a block of cheese fast enough when sliced down to fit the feeder. Blender works well as does the bullet-style cup mixers. Components are easy to lift off the base, don't have to wrench it to the side to disengage.

I use this blender to make smoothies in the morning and it does a great job. Fast and convenient.

Love the combination of the food processor and blender together. Easy to use and clean. Does a great job in performing either tasks of blending or processing food.

It’s not only a blender but it doubles as a “ninja” and a food processor aswell for the price it was a a steal I price match all the time and so I can always shop at my favorite store it’s really powerful and the different blend types

We bought this to replace the blender my had previously and it works so well. It has a lot of power. Con: lots of parts and bulky to store
