Needed to replace a waffle iron that had seen better days. This is sturdy, worked well first time--no sticking, no burning. I have a tendency to overfill to make thicker waffles. Can't do that with this one as the heavy lid closes it more tightly, squeezing out any excess. Otherwise, perfect for my use.

first use I didn't use spay oil and the wafles stuck to the griddle and pulled apart and took some effort to get out. Since then, no issues whatsoever. sometimes I use spray oil and sometimes I don't

What a deal for a quality machine. Be careful not to use metal or the non-stick will scratch. A bit difficult to clean if you spill on the heat controls, but you can't go wrong at this price.

It works fine and does the job it was meant to do. I prefer the Belgium waffles and didn't notice this was a regular waffle iron. My bad and not the fault of Cusinart

My wife experimenta with different waffle flavors and wanted a good but not costly waffle maker...... this device does the job and does it well. I would recommend it.

This item was purchased as a gift for family member. They enjoy a good breakfast on the weekend so they should get a lot of use out of this product.

Batter leaked on the sides and waffle was more done in the middle than the sides. Was a thin waffle instead of the thick waffle i was expecting. Used a basic recipe from pinterest and did spray the waffle iron with cooking spray just to be on the safe side. Didn't stick. Ended up returning it mainly because I wanted a thicker waffle.

I am still undecided whether or not I like this waffle maker. I had one years ago and loved it. This one states it gives you crispy waffles. I haven't had waffles from it yet that are crispy, even on the high setting. The only way they are crispy is when I heat the waffle up the next day in the toaster. Then it is more crispy which is what I like. I would say "keep looking".
